Smart Filing — your documents build the profile. • Smart Filing Inbox: drop documents and photos in batches (multi-select). Each is read on this device, matched to its checklist item, and filed in one tap after your review. • Files to the exact inspection sub-point where applicable (e.g., duty-time material to the duty/rest bullet). • Expiration dates found in documents are tracked automatically. Tail-number mismatches are flagged. • Optionally file a copy of any recognized document to an Appendix topic in the same pass. • On supported devices, Apple Intelligence assists document identification — fully on-device. Faster profile setup. • Profile Quick Start: three guided steps from empty profile to ramp-ready. • New profiles open directly into Quick Start; creation now needs just operator and tail. • "Where to find this" hints on empty items and example note starters in shadow gray. • Ramp Check Rehearsal: run the inspection against your own profile the night before an EU leg. Clearer, cleaner app. • Redesigned SAFA landing page with live build-progress strip and section-by-section readiness. • Free-trial banner shows exactly when the trial converts and how to cancel. • Improved recognition of official document wording (FAA registration certificates, FCC radio station authorizations). • Refreshed app icon and richer background.

Full screen PDF viewer upgrade, bug fixes, better profile merge functionality

SAFA+ v2.5 — Built for crew handoffs, audit-ready PDFs, and rock-solid file sharing. OPERATOR-BRANDED PDFs Your operator name and logo now appear on every SAFA Checklist, CORSIA, EU ETS, and Corporate EHS PDF. Configure once under Subscription → Operator Branding. One-tap master toggle for ferry or sub-charter flights. Push your branding and Pilot Quick Links to every captain with one AirDrop using the new .safabranding bundle. PILOT QUICK LINKS Editable launchpad with eight preselected operational links (NAT Tracks, FAA NOTAM, US Airspace Status, Eurocontrol, OPSGROUP, Nav Canada CFPS, AviationWeather.gov, CBP eAPIS) plus six placeholder rows for operator-specific URLs (Scheduling, Maintenance, OEM Portal, Logbook, Flight Planning, Charts). DIRECT AIRDROP / FILE SHARING .safaprofile (SAFA inspections) and the new .safaflights extension (CO₂ flight bundles) now route directly into SAFA+ on AirDrop, Mail, and Files tap. No more "Open with…" picker on the receiver. After import you land inside the SAFA checklist for the imported profile automatically. SMART-MERGE IMPORT When a received .safaprofile matches an existing operator and tail you already have, SAFA+ asks Merge / Import as new / Cancel. Merge keeps both sides — last-writer-wins per item by updatedAt, attachments union, Record of Revisions union. WIND CORRECTION CALCULATOR Its own dedicated tile inside Cockpit Tools. Standard wind triangle plus East/West magnetic variation and ± compass deviation, all on one screen. Compass-card 0–359° inputs with out-of-range protection. ROLL PHOTOS INTO ONE PDF Available on every inspection item, "Inspect for" sub-bullet, and Appendix topic. Each attached photo becomes a US-Letter page in a generated PDF that lands in your evidence bundle. SHARE WORKFLOW POLISH Optimized share now shows a "Preparing…" heads-up alert and on-screen spinner so the sender knows the photo re-encode is in progress. Hyperlink entry no longer collapses mid-keystroke when you type the dot. AirDrop is recommended in every share path — no file-size limit, no chooser on the receiver. RELIABILITY FIXES Cold-launch race conditions eliminated — no more spurious "subscription not active" alert or paywall flash before the imported profile loads. iCloud-resident file imports run on a background thread with a "Downloading from iCloud…" overlay, so the app stays responsive and never hangs even when iOS takes seconds to materialize the file. EVERY IN-APP DOC REFRESHED How-To, FAQ, and Subscription pages rewritten to match the current workflows. UPGRADE-SAFE No data migration required. All existing inspection profiles, photos, documents, hyperlinks, CO₂ records, operator branding, Pilot Quick Links, home tile order, and your subscription remain intact. If your subscription does not auto-restore on first launch, tap Restore Purchases on the Subscription tile.

bug fixes in Unit Conversion

Version 1.2 adds a flight-planning calculator suite to the Conversions tool, broadens the Carbon Emissions workflow with editing + CSV import, and ships a one-tap Home button so deep navigation collapses in a single action. NEW — Home button on every screen. A small house icon sits in the top-right of the navigation bar throughout the app. Tap it from any tool, any sheet, any item-detail screen, and the navigation stack pops all the way back to the home tile grid in one action — open sheets dismiss first. NEW — Equal Time Point (ETP) and Point of No Return (PNR) calculator. In Conversions, type total leg distance, ground speed continuing, ground speed returning, and total endurance. Live read-outs cover ETP distance and time from departure plus PNR distance and time from departure, in decimal hours and h:mm. NEW — Wind-triangle ground speed solver. Type true course out, true airspeed, wind direction from, and wind speed. The card computes head / tail / cross components, wind correction angle with crab direction, and ground speed for both the outbound leg and the return leg (return course auto-set to out + 180°). The solved outbound and return ground speeds auto-feed the ETP / PNR Go / Gh fields directly below — and both inputs remain typeable for manual override. NEW — Density altitude with station-pressure input. The ISA Standard Atmosphere block now accepts current station pressure in inHg, hPa / mb, mmHg, or Pa. Pressure altitude is recomputed as PA = indicated alt + (29.92 − station pressure inHg) × 1000; density altitude becomes DA = PA + 120 × ISA deviation. Both temperature and pressure now drive DA. NEW — Jet A density temperature correction. Type the current fuel temperature (default 15 °C, switchable to °F). Density auto-updates to density(T) = 6.70 − 0.0049 × (T − 15 °C) lb/USgal — matching the ASTM D1655 typical volume-correction factor. Toggle the correction off to type a measured density (the field resets cleanly to 15 °C / 6.70 lb/USgal before becoming editable). NEW — Edit a saved Carbon Emissions flight. Tap any row in Saved Flights to open the editor: date, tail, flight #, origin / destination, ICAO type, passenger count, fuel burn, distance, cargo, mail, SAF blend, scopes, certificate, scheme — every field is editable. CO₂ / per-pax / per-NM totals recompute on save. NEW — CSV flight import. Tap Import CSV to pull rows from a flight-log export. Required columns: date, tail, origin, destination, type, pax, fuel_lb. Optional: flight_number, distance_nm, saf_blend_pct, saf_reduction_pct, cargo_kg, mail_kg. Duplicate detection runs automatically. NEW — Inline Tonne-Kilometre report. The TKM table can now be appended to the main emissions PDF on a fresh page so the cover, per-flight list, aerodrome-pair summary, pie charts, MRV / methodology pages, and TKM block all live in one document. NEW — PDF search inside uploaded documents. PDF attachments open in a built-in PDFKit viewer with a magnifying-glass search field, previous / next arrows, and a live match counter. NEW — Duty / Rest sync. A Lock rest end = duty start toggle keeps the two boundaries tied together; a one-shot Sync rest end to duty start now button anchors them once. New Earliest Duty On and Maximum Duty End read-outs show the soonest legal show time and the latest legal off-duty time in Zulu. NEW — Cursor lands at the right of the existing value when you tap a TextField in Conversions, so a single backspace deletes the rightmost digit immediately. IMPROVED — refreshed How-To and FAQ hubs cover every 1.2 addition with worked examples.

Version 1.1 - Multi-area Record of Revisions — a single revision can now cover any combination of Placards, Inspection Sections, and Appendix. - Operator name and tail number are now editable directly on saved profiles' summary card. - New "Rev N" badge under the operator name on profile thumbnails so the latest revision number is visible at a glance. - Custom inspection items and operator-added inspection points can now be deleted via a left swipe (defaults stay protected). - Improved file-open routing: tap a .safaprofile or a Carbon Emissions .json from Files / AirDrop / Mail and the app routes it to the correct tool automatically. - Several Carbon Emissions improvements: per-row Replace/Keep on duplicate-flight import, gated share / import behind active subscription. - Stability and dark-mode PDF rendering fixes.
