Airport pickup times are shown in South African time, even if your phone is set to another country. For arrivals, you agree the exact meeting point with your driver in the booking chat. • Sign in from anywhere. Pick your country when you enter your phone number, or paste a number with its international code. This works for signing in, creating an account and editing your profile. • Your booking at a glance. Your next pickup time, address, driver and vehicle come first, followed by the full itinerary. Payments show the booking price, what you've paid and what remains. Cancelling is under Manage booking. • Know your booked time. Before you send a request, each leg shows how many minutes it includes and when it's booked until. • Fair paid time. It starts at your booked pickup time, or when your driver arrives if they're late. If you're ready early and agree to set off, it starts then. Up to five minutes over a leg isn't charged. Beyond that, each full extra minute is charged at the vehicle's rate and listed on your trip statement. • See your driver on the way. The live map updates on its own, including when you return to the app, and a delayed position is marked as delayed. You're told when your driver is on the way, when they've arrived and when your trip starts. • Receipts and statements. Download your trip statement and each payment receipt as a PDF. • Clear terms. Zula now asks you to tick to agree to the Terms, and the updated Terms and Privacy Policy explain how location and tracking are used. FOR DRIVERS • A clear sequence: Head to pickup, I've arrived, Start trip, then Complete. The main actions stay at the bottom of the screen wherever you scroll. • I've arrived opens 30 minutes before pickup once you're within 500 m of the pickup pin. Start trip is for when your guests are aboard. • Preview the route to a pickup or drop-off at any time without telling the guest you're on your way. • Requests show every leg, break, address, vehicle, guest count and your earnings before you accept. • Finishing a trip normally no longer asks for a note. • The location-sharing notice is shorter and isn't repeated for the same booking. FOR OPERATORS • Pause a vehicle for repairs or leave from Vehicles & pricing. It stops taking new bookings straight away, and existing bookings stay in place. This release is about what happens around the trip: paying for it and being able to see afterwards what you paid for and where you went. WHAT'S NEW • Your cards, managed. Add a card from Profile without starting a booking, give it a name like Personal or Business, and switch between saved cards when you book or when a deposit needs retrying. Adding a card takes a R5 verification payment, which is submitted for refund straight away. Payment is by card. • A receipt for every payment. Your deposit and your trip payment each get their own receipt, listed on the booking and downloadable as a PDF. The current trip statement is still there and still separate - a statement shows where a trip stands, a receipt records a payment that was made. • The route on your receipt. A completed trip's payment receipt now includes a map of the route recorded for each leg, beside the pickup, destination and the times the leg started and ended. Where tracking dropped out, the gap is left as a gap. • Completed trips, rebuilt. One screen that opens with the date, your driver, the legs and what was paid, then your own ratings and comments, then payments and receipts, then the trip details. Recorded routes and the trip timeline open straight from the top. • Extra time, said plainly. The booking form explains how additional time is charged at the vehicle's hourly rate before you request anything, and a finished trip lists each leg's extra time and what it cost. • Baby seat. Drivers can show that they carry one, shown by name alongside LGBTQ+ friendly and pet friendly. Each is the driver's own declaration. • More complete recorded routes. Trip tracking now keeps every location the phone reports rather than the last one in a batch, and recovers points captured while the driver was offline. Routes have fewer gaps in them. • For operators: add and edit vehicles, set pricing, and manage your team from the phone. FIXES • Receipts now download. Asking for one used to fail every time. • Ratings are asked for once a trip is settled, not while a trip is still being looked into. • The trip timeline shows every time on the same South African clock. Some were shown in the device's own timezone. • Card setup, the card nickname sheet and tip checkout no longer run under the status bar or the home indicator on newer phones, and the recorded routes screen gets its top spacing on Android. Instant Booking is still paused, so every request goes to the operator to accept. We'll bring it back once it's ready.

Choose your driver from the results, then build your trip and review the whole thing before you send the request. WHAT'S NEW • Reserve driver hours. Hold a block of a driver's time without deciding where you'll end up. Stops and waiting are included in the time you book, and you can settle the final destination with your driver on the day. • Multi-pickup trips. Add as many pickups as your day needs. Where your driver is released between them, you'll see how long that gap is and that you're not charged for it. • Prices up front. Results and driver profiles now show the hourly rate, the minimum hours and an estimate for the length of trip you're planning. • Review before you request. A single screen with every pickup, the billed duration, your total, deposit, remaining balance and card — with a way back to keep editing. • Welcome preferences. Drivers can now show that they're LGBTQ+ friendly or pet friendly. These are each driver's own choice, shown by name. • Declining a request is clearer on both sides, and a declined request now leads somewhere rather than stopping dead. FIXES • Your booking now updates while you're watching it. Previously a request being accepted didn't show until you left the screen and came back. • Messages appear the moment you send them. • Driver tracking updates without leaving and reopening the map. • Tapping a notification opens the screen it promises. • Times are shown in South African time throughout. Some notifications were two hours out. • The keyboard no longer covers the address you're typing. • You can sign out from the profile setup screen instead of being stuck on it.
