Pick one color to keep vivid — color pop effect with a hue wheel, eyedropper, or slider. Presets included. Offline, no account. Selective Color Photo FX keeps any color you choose alive while converting the rest of the photo to black and white. Target a hue with the interactive hue wheel or click directly on the image with the eyedropper, then use range width and feathering controls to shape the color-to-monochrome transition exactly the way you want. Choose from five photographic presets to start quickly — Red Pop, Sunset Only, Sky Focus, Green Nature, or Skin Tones — or dial in any custom hue from 0 to 360 degrees. Boost the saturation of your preserved color, shift its hue for a creative look, or blend the effect with the original using the opacity control. Six monochrome tone presets set the mood of the black-and-white regions: Gray, Sepia, Cool Blue, Warm Brown, Silver Gelatin, or Green Tint, each with adjustable intensity. Compare your edit using three view modes. Preview mode shows the result in full canvas. Reveal mode overlays the original beneath the effect. Split mode places before and after side by side with a draggable divider. When the result is ready, export to JPEG, PNG, or HEIF. JPEG and HEIF support quality adjustment. Share directly to other apps using the system share sheet. All processing runs locally on your Mac. No account, no subscription, and no internet connection required.
