Improved the Complete Your Trip introduction and trip selection, with a larger car on your journey. Added on-device reminders to continue unfinished travel memories. Improved map transitions, zooming, region selection and acquisition attribution.

Removed map grain and improved colour separation between neighbouring regions. Improved Russia map panning, the regional photo button, the first photo scan flow, and reporting and blocking.

• My favorites: heart the places you loved and add a note while viewing photos, then find them again from the region. • Tap the heart to pick the nearby place it was. • Photo lists are grouped by neighborhood within each day, and you can share several photos at once. • Sharing now opens right away. • The globe stays sharp when you zoom in. • New coral design for sign-in, first setup, and app colors.

• A fresh MapOn look with a new logo and vivid coral theme. • Clearer map outlines and smoother travel route animations. • Rename your travel map and save the completed map as a photo or video. • Improved overseas map browsing and photo check guidance.

• A new row in Where to go? — “Quiet this weekend”, picking places that will be less crowded • Rebuilt the photo check — tell it what looks wrong and it walks you to the fix • Fixed a button that did nothing when photos were missing • The same permission is no longer asked again on every screen • Fixed wrong wording that said photo access could not be restored • Polished dialog wording across the app and fixed clipped words

• Your home area's neighborhood map is now free — just open it, no purchase needed • The neighborhood map has been redrawn — your footprints glow on a dark map, and zooming in switches to the real map • Change your home area right from the top-left of the map (once a month) • Fixed trips through several places being named after the first one you passed

• iPhone: the app was pulling hundreds of full-size photos from iCloud on every launch — fixed, so it starts faster and uses less data • The globe spins smoothly now — it was redrawing the whole screen every frame even with no comet on it • Change your home region right from the map — Map tab > More > General > Change home region • The picker now shows at a glance which region is currently set

• The trip-finale comet show now lives at the bottom of your travel log as you write — the old publish gate is gone • The comet looks more like a comet — a brighter head, and on the 3D globe a sparkling swarm of light follows it • Coming home from a trip? It now unfolds right at the top of your timeline • Faster photo scanning and lighter image loading

• The map is dramatically smoother — we rebuilt how it renders while you pinch and pan, so it now follows your fingertips • Reinstalling now greets you by your MapOn nickname instead of your account name, plus small onboarding polish

• The map's opening light-up show now carries a year caption — from your first visit to this year, your footprints fill in chronological order • Subscription pricing now shows the billed amount front and center

• Fixed the first scan sometimes failing to start on devices with very large libraries — the start signal now retries until it lands • While a scan is running, its progress is now included in the check screen and reports

• Add trips your photos missed — pick the countries and dates in the Globe tab, and the globe turns to that country and lights up your route • Picking dates now goes year → month → day. Four taps reach a trip from years ago

• The timeline now reads like a photo feed — full-width covers with the date and year up front • Videos you shot on the trip now play inside your travel story, for everyone • Fixed: scrolling back up made cards fade in again, one by one • A better globe tab — deeper night sky, no freeze when you leave, and Replay works every time now • Fixed: typing in the photo check pushed the sheet away, and a false 'no location' warning

• Fixed: tapping a button on the world map could close it and open the wrong screen • The app now tells you about the new 3D world map

• The world map now has a 3D globe — a comet flies across it, lighting up every country you visited • Save that flight as a video and share it • Switching to another country flies you there across the globe too • The Earth texture is now high resolution • Reinstalling now rescans your photos and fills the map again

• Reworked the opening animation that fills your map with color • Regions now fade in smoothly instead of blinking on one by one • Tidied up the notices that appeared after scanning your photos • Fixed the Settings screen failing to open

• Check it yourself when photos are not being recognized — Settings > Photo check • See exactly what is blocking them, and fix or re-scan right there • See how many of your photos have a location and how many do not • If your map is empty, the app now asks whether you want to find out why • Fixed photos you removed from the map coming back later

• Much smaller app size, with the same photo and sound quality • Noticeably faster startup and map zooming • Your photobooks come back after reinstalling • Fixed the wrong text being deleted when inserting a photo into a travel log

• "Where to?" now shows festivals on right now — short ones, ending soon • Fixed photos flipping to the next one while you were pinch-zooming • Fixed map share images being cropped oddly • The missing children card now refreshes every day

• "Where to?" now has seasonal picks and trips to rest your body • Every visit shows somewhere different — new photos and write-ups each time • Share world map photos straight away; make the intro video with one ad • Open the neighborhood map (Korea maps) for a while with one ad • Monthly plans now start with a 7-day free trial

• New "Where to?" tab — this month's trending places at a glance • Tap a region for a travel magazine — festival programs, restaurants, routes, places to stay • See where visitors headed next • Popular overseas cities now come with photos and summaries • The "Stories" tab now holds your story, the feed and the hall of fame

• Sharing to KakaoTalk now sends a map card, not a long URL • This month's trending places — festivals, food and sights • Tap a region to open its travel page • The splash screen now joins the search for missing children • Zooming the map feels smoother • Removed the full-screen ad that appeared right at launch

• Korea maps now go down to neighborhood level (Premium) • Pick one photo and add the whole trip in one tap • Picked the wrong home map? You can now change it once • New: one-week free trial of Premium • Map prices are shown before checkout • The splash screen now joins the search for missing children • Map panning feels much smoother

• New app icon and launch screen • Open the app and your visited places light up, one by one, in the order you went • Choose specific albums instead of your whole library on the first scan • Long-press the icon to jump straight to your map or a new photo scan • Adding a place by hand now fills in the date and region for you • Letters with the developer now read as a conversation

• Fixed a fresh install not reading photos, leaving the map blank • Fixed a single-country map staying locked after purchase • The map is hand-drawn now — neighbouring borders meet properly • Photos drop into your travel log instantly; uploading runs in the background • Footprint show now draws down to the town level • Bug fixes and stability improvements
