Everything stays on your iPhone. — FOCUS WHEN YOU DECIDE — Create a mode for each moment of your day: work, study, meals, sleep, family time. Pick which apps to block. Pick how the session starts and ends. — STRATEGIES YOU PICK — • Manual: start and stop from inside the app • NFC card: tap your Cortex card to start or stop • QR code: scan a QR to open or close a session • Time range: automatic focus between two times (e.g., 10pm → 7am) • Timer: fixed duration with optional NFC early unlock • Mix: combine strategies (NFC + manual, QR + timer…) — INSTANT BLOCKING — Cortex uses iOS Family Controls (Screen Time API) to block the apps and websites you choose, the moment your session starts. Open a blocked app, and you'll see a custom Cortex shield instead. — DYNAMIC ISLAND TIMER — Your session timer shows live on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. — BREAKS AND EMERGENCIES — Need a 5 to 15 minute breather? Pause mode lets you through temporarily, then re-blocks automatically. Emergency unlock gives you 3 uses per rolling 4-week window. — PARENTAL PIN — PIN stored only in iOS encrypted Keychain. No backup on our servers. — PHYSICAL NFC CARD — The Cortex card (sold separately on liberetoncortex.com) turns your focus ritual into a tangible gesture. — TOTAL PRIVACY — Zero data sent.
