Begin each morning with one Gaeilge affirmation — English translation, phonetic guide, scenic Irish backdrops, themed reminders, widgets, and Apple Watch.
A single beautiful sentence in Irish, every morning.
Lá Maith ("good day") brings you one Gaeilge affirmation a day — with an English translation and a simple phonetic guide so you'll always know how to say it. No accounts. No noise. Just a daily moment with a wee bit of Irish.
— What's inside —
• 650+ original affirmations, hand-written and reviewed against the Foclóir Gaeilge–Béarla
• Eight categories of life: Misneach (courage), Grá (love), Síocháin (peace), Sláinte (health), Rath (fortune), Eagna (wisdom), Buíochas (gratitude), Féinmhuinín (self-trust)
• Three tones — gentle, bold, soulful — so the day feels like yours
• Personalised lines that know your name, your star sign, and your birthday — all editable any time in Settings
• Seasonal decks for the Irish festivals: Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasadh, Samhain, and the solstices
• A streak that grows quietly, a history calendar to revisit any past day, and favourites kept forever
• Story-shaped share images, ready for the people you care about
— Your Lock Screen, your way —
The day's line lives on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — and now it's yours to shape:
• Pick a font and a lock-screen colour
• Choose what sits either side of the pill: your tone, category, streak, the time of day, the season, your star sign, or a hand-drawn Irish mark — a shamrock, a trinity knot, a Celtic spiral
• Tap the heart to save a line without ever opening the app
• On Premium: a scenic Ireland photo behind the words, and an island that dresses up for the Irish festivals — Lá Fhéile Pádraig, Samhain, Nollaig, Lá Fhéile Bríde and more
— On your wrist, on your Home Screen —
• Apple Watch app — an endless feed of affirmations, plus complications for any watch face
• Home Screen + Lock Screen widgets in every size, with scenic backdrops on Premium
— Made for everyone —
Larger affirmation text, a legibility boost for bright photos, and solid (non-frosted) backgrounds — all in Settings.
— Free vs Premium —
Two categories (Misneach and Buíochas) are free for everyone. Premium unlocks all eight, plus scenic backdrops, the Apple Watch app, premium Dynamic Island styles + Irish-festival theming, seasonal decks, custom multi-slot reminders, and personal photo backgrounds.
Try it free. Monthly, annual with a 3-day free trial.
— Made in Ireland —
Lá Maith is built in Ireland with care for the Irish language and quietly modern design. Every word has been checked. Every screen has been considered.
— Subscription terms —
Lá Maith Premium is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly: 1 month, Annual: 1 year with a 3-day free trial). Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
