TrackCraft is an AI-assisted mastering studio for Mac. Drop in a track, pick where it's going (streaming services, R128 broadcast, peak-time club PA, or a custom target you set), and watch a senior-engineer-style AI read the waveform and propose a step-by-step polish chain. Tame that 4 kHz resonance. Tighten the low end. Hit −14 LUFS with −1 dBTP of headroom. Every step comes with a written rationale, a before/after preview, and a one-click Approve.
You're the producer. The AI is the second pair of ears.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
• Interactive waveform editor — zoom, scrub, drag-select, cut/paste, fade, trim silence, all on a separate undo stack so trims never tangle with effects.
• A full mastering chain — high-pass, parametric EQ, filter-curve EQ, compressor, limiter, stereo width, exciter, gain envelope, loudness normalize, fades. Everything in-app. No external plugins required.
• Real metering — integrated and short-term LUFS, true-peak, sample peak, RMS, crest factor, stereo correlation, clip detection, per-band energy. Calculated locally to broadcast standards.
• Per-target presets — Streaming (−14 LUFS / −1 dBTP), Broadcast (−23 LUFS), Club (−8 LUFS / −0.3 dBTP), or Custom.
• Every effect is reversible. Re-plan whenever the chain stops serving the goal.
HOW THE AI WORKS
TrackCraft sends your track's metrics and a downsampled waveform shape to the AI model you've chosen and gets back a mastering plan with rationale: "the LUFS gap to your target is 6 dB", "the stereo image is mono-leaning at 0.90 correlation, widening recommended", "broadband mud at 250 Hz, 2 dB cut with a wide Q". You approve, hand-edit the parameters, or skip. Every approval triggers fresh metrics, and the AI re-plans against what's left.
