• More dependable when left running for hours: if a theme runs into trouble, hueprism moves on to another one instead of freezing on screen. • Uses less power while it plays untouched — the hidden controls no longer redraw in the background. • Deleting a custom palette while it is on screen no longer stops the animation.

• The screen now stays on while hueprism is in front, so it can play untouched on a stand or a spare iPad. Switch to another app and Auto-Lock works as usual. • Tap anywhere to leave ambient view and bring the controls back. • Double-tap now toggles pinning: double-tap to keep the current theme on screen, and double-tap again to resume auto-rotation. A "pinned" label shows while a theme is pinned. • A short guide to the gestures appears on first launch. • The interface is in English on devices not set to Korean, and the clock shows your local time. • Themes can now stay on screen for up to 10 minutes each.

• Fireworks — a new theme, and the 28th. Shells climb from below, break into rings of drifting embers, and twinkle out. Six kinds, including willow, ring, glitter, and one that breaks a second time on the way down. • Tune it to the room. Launch rate, spread, particle count, trail length and gravity — plus a hue control that gives each burst its own colour, or leaves every one faithful to the palette.

• Halftone — a new print-dot effect that redraws the scene as brightness-scaled dots, following the live palette. Off by default; Settings → Effects. • Two new palette families — Luminous (bright, paper-toned) and Pop Art (high-contrast, Warhol-inspired) — plus a composer for building and saving palettes of your own. • Faster, more reliable launch. The app no longer fetches anything at startup, so it opens instantly and runs with no connection at all. • Fixed a settings button that could be visible but ignore taps.
