New: FreeCell joins Solitaire, a new deck of cards, and live games with a friend on a video call. Ten games are free, forever.
42 classic board and card games, one purchase, no subscription. Your opponents are illustrated characters who talk, hold grudges, and remember every game you have played against them.
Ten games are free. One small purchase unlocks the other 32 forever. No ads. No in-app currency. No account. Works fully offline.
NEW: FREECELL, A NEW DECK, AND GAMES ON A VIDEO CALL
Solitaire now has FreeCell beside Klondike, Spider and Pyramid, and one tap sends any card to the best place it can go. The card games and Solitaire have a new deck with clearer corners and bigger pips, and five new card backs come with the unlock. And you can play a friend live on a video call: start a game from Play With People and they join from the call. Every game you can play nearby works this way too.
FIVE CARD GAMES
Cribbage, Gin Rummy, Crazy Eights, Go Fish and German Whist, against the cast or with a friend on one device. Points only: no betting, no chips, no coins.
THE COLLECTION (42 games)
Chess, Checkers, International Draughts, Russian Checkers, Turkish Dama, Backgammon, Tavla, Go, Xiangqi, Reversi, Nine Men's Morris, Hnefatafl, Oware, Kalaha, Ludo, Chinese Checkers, Halma, Snakes and Ladders, Royal Game of Ur, Yut Nori, Senet, Mahjong Solitaire, Klondike Solitaire, Peg Solitaire, Dominoes, Yatzy, Sudoku, Shut the Box, Sea Battle, Tic-Tac-Toe, Drop Four, Gomoku, Hex, Dots and Boxes, Paper Soccer, Crokinole and Carrom. Plus five card games: Cribbage, Gin Rummy, Crazy Eights, Go Fish and German Whist.
OPPONENTS WITH PERSONALITY
Digby, Bodge, Lord Grimalkin and Master Yuzu each have their own voice, moods and playing style, and a secret fifth character waits behind them. They keep your head-to-head record, sulk after a losing run, and react to every win, loss and comeback. It is not a difficulty slider; it is a rival worth beating.
AN OPPONENT THAT ACTUALLY THINKS
Chess, Checkers, Draughts, Reversi, Xiangqi, Oware and Nine Men's Morris run a real search that reads several moves ahead, and Chess plays from an opening book. Difficulty is thinking time, not a fixed depth. The free games include the Standard level, with no random slips, so you can judge it before you spend anything.
LEARN ANY GAME IN MINUTES

TWICE A YEAR, THE CAST GROWS
Ten more characters live in the app and appear only around Halloween and Christmas: a Victorian ghost who apologizes for winning, a jack-o-lantern with no memory, an elf who has been on her feet since October, a reindeer who has never made the team. They arrive on the day with nothing to download, and each season hides a fifth character until you beat the fourth.
Quiet, hand-drawn, full of character. Made by one person in Manchester.

FreeCell, a new deck of cards, and games on a video call.
- A new deck for the card games and Solitaire: clearer corners, bigger pips, and picture cards with a crown, a coronet or a sword. Nothing overlaps, even on a small phone.
- Five new card backs come with the unlock: Oxblood, Racing Green, Ivory & Ink, Highland Tartan and Art Deco. Pick one in More, Look.
- FreeCell joins Solitaire, with the classic numbered deals, hints, undo and a button to finish the game for you.
- Solitaire moves a card in one tap, to the best place it can go. Drag to choose the place yourself, or switch one-tap moves off.
- Play a friend live on a video call. Start a game from Play With People and they join from the call. Every game you can play nearby works this way too.
- A Daily Puzzle widget for your Home Screen and Lock Screen, and the evening reminder now tells you what today's puzzle is.
- Chess reviews your game when it ends. Every move is graded from Brilliant to Blunder, you both get an accuracy score, and Find a better move takes you back to your mistakes to have another go.
- Dice jump up large in the middle of the board and say what the throw means, so you never squint at a corner to see what you rolled. There is a switch in Settings if you prefer them small.
- Meet Chris, who made Boardalo. He shows you round the first time you open the app, in his own voice, and you can watch it again from More.
