Overall this app is nice, simple and effective for IPA typing with English sounds. My only real issue is the fact that not all of the phonemes used in English transcription are available, especially for working with American English. Namely, the postalveolar approximant (upside-down letter “r” symbol), the open-mid front unrounded vowel as in the e in “bed” (the app only has open-mid *central* in it) as well as the rhotic schwa (the er in words like “teacher”) — those sounds exist in both standard American and British English, and are quite common in American speech. Aside from that, the only thing really missing is some diacritic markers like syllabic consonants and also the alveolar flap/tap symbol. Easily a 5-star app if those features can be added!
