Safer SOS: slide to call or text 911 during a ride, with your location and ride details ready to share. Plus improvements and fixes.

Improvements and fixes.

Festival and event site maps At participating events, the map now draws the event's own site map — stages, camps, gates and roads the way they're signposted on the ground — instead of the plain street map. Tap the pill to switch back to the street map whenever you like, and the app remembers your choice for each event. For drivers • A rebuilt Available Rides screen with a live speedometer and a shift odometer, so an empty queue still tells you something useful. • A full-screen fare collection sheet with larger, easier-to-hit buttons. • Reusable NFC tap cards you can claim and release from inside the app. Fixes • The ride PIN no longer stays hidden after you switch away from the app and come back. • Push notifications recover correctly after your session changes. • A single misconfigured zone can no longer take a whole city's service area offline. • Assorted map, navigation and stability fixes.

Search festival and event site maps by name — find a stage, camp or gate the way it's signposted, not by street address. Drivers can now take payment by Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and PayPal alongside card and cash, and your saved payment codes stay put between app updates. Clearer ride history: each ride shows exactly how it was paid, including rides split across more than one method. Plus a larger, easier-to-spot destination marker and a range of fixes.

• Moves the active-ride Queue button so it no longer covers important ride controls. • Makes account deletion available from the Account Hold screen. • Improves privacy disclosures and network security. • Includes general stability improvements.

• Fixes an issue where some iPhone models couldn't increase the number of children on a ride request. • Stability and performance improvements.

• Fixes adding kids to a walk-up ride on smaller iPhones (the free-kids control was cut off). • Adds Bluetooth card reader support for collecting card payments. • Sends riders a text receipt with an app link after walk-up rides. • Reliability fixes for canceling rides and the fare display.

Family riding: children under 7 now ride free! Add your little ones to a ride request — they're counted for the seat, never for the fare. Plus small pricing and receipt improvements.
