Pill Lock in your language • Pill Lock now follows your iPhone's language, in 25 languages: every screen, reminder and widget, and the block screen. • Amounts read the way you would say them: 2 capsules, 1.5 mg, 27 pills left. • Smaller fixes and polish throughout.

A profile of your own • The new Me tab holds your name and picture, and the tab wears them. • Your streak: days in a row without a missed dose, your best one, and this week at a glance. • A year of doses as a grid, on time or late, plus your last 30 days and the weekday that slips the most. Today, as a timeline • Your day from morning to night: each dose on a line, grouped by part of the day, with a marker for right now. • The top says what's next: a dose due now, or the next one and when, with a ring of what you've taken. • Open the app while a dose is due and Today takes you straight to it. • The Today tab's icon follows the time of day, from sunrise to moon. Your next dose, everywhere • A new widget for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen shows your next dose and counts down to it. • It updates on its own, even when the app is closed. Make it yours • Color themes: paint Pill Lock in one of eleven colors, or pick your own, in Settings. Widgets and the block screen follow. • Reminders can play Pill Lock's own soft chord, or your phone's sound. Choose it in Notifications. • Common medications can now get their own icon and color too. Schedules that remember • Changing a schedule no longer rewrites the past: doses you took stay taken, and none show as missed that were never due. • Every few hours now means around the clock: 10:00 every 8 hours is 10:00, 18:00 and 02:00. Schedules you already have keep their times. • Pausing a medication keeps your streak: its doses read as Paused and never count as missed, while one missed before the pause still does. • Weeks start on Monday everywhere. App Blocking • New "Block everything except" mode: every app is blocked until you take your dose, except the few you choose to keep. • Pill Lock tells you when a selection goes past what iOS can block, instead of blocking at random. • The block comes back on time after "Remind me later", more reliably. Also new • Backup & Restore in Settings: keep your medications, doses, photos and settings in a file, and bring them to a new phone. • What's New in Settings shows what each update brought. • Your user ID at the bottom of Settings, one tap to copy, for when you write to support. • Pick a photo for a medication without giving access to your whole library. • A better layout on iPad. • Many smaller fixes and polish throughout.

Your dose, on the lock screen • A Live Activity appears when a dose is due (iOS 26): the medication's photo or icon, its name, the dose, how many you have done today, and a red counter of how long it has been waiting. Tap it to open the dose. • It lives in the Dynamic Island too: icon and counter when compact, the full card when you hold it. • It is scheduled ahead, so it shows up even when the app is not open, and it leaves on its own once the dose is taken or skipped. A block that can wait • On iOS 26.4 and later, the block screen's second button is now "Remind me later": five minutes, twenty minutes, or unlock for this dose. • A snooze lifts the block for exactly that long. The block returns on time, with a reminder. • Snoozing from the app, from a reminder or from the block screen all end on the same minute, so the reminder, the block and the dose screen always agree. The dose screen • Take, and a Snooze menu with five, ten or twenty minutes. While a snooze runs, the screen says when the reminder is coming. • Take at… and Skip sit in a small menu beside the dose's status. • Dose rows on Today and Schedule lost their big green button: Take is the first item of the row's menu, so a thumb can no longer mark a dose taken by mistake. The row itself opens the dose. • The day's count now covers only the doses that will remind you; a paused medication's dose is listed but not counted. Permissions at a glance • The banners for notifications, critical alerts and app blocking have a new look, and now agree with each other on every tab. • A Critical Alerts banner appears only when one of your doses is marked critical and the permission is off. • Banners update the moment you come back from Settings. Fixes • Reminders already on the lock screen are cleared when a dose's time changes or the dose is done. • One reminder at the end of a snooze, not two. • A finished medication, and medications on specific dates or as needed, are no longer asked for a stock quantity. • Editing a medication opens on its saved icon instead of animating to it. • The Medications list shows no "Next" dose for paused or finished medications. • Dates & Times lands on the chosen day a little sooner. • Promotions on the paywall show the price before the sale struck through beside the real one.

Plans that end the way yours do • Choose how a medication ends: never, on a date, after a number of doses, or when the pack runs out. Each option explains what it does, and the current one is ticked. • Finish after a set number of doses: enter how many your prescription asks for and the app shows the exact day it ends. Bought more pills than the course needs? It still stops on time. • Finish when the stock runs out: with quantity tracking on, the medication is marked finished as soon as the last one is taken, and its reminders stop. • Smarter end dates: a new end date starts at a sensible length for your schedule, a week for daily courses and four weeks for weekly routines, and always lands on a day you take a dose. • End dates include their last day: a medication that ends on a date now gets its dose on that day too. Taking a dose feels like it • A small celebration: confetti, a gentle haptic and a chime when you mark a dose taken. • Know where your day stands: the confirmation names the medication and shows how many doses are done today, or tells you when that's everything. • Tap a reminder, land on the dose: opening the app from a reminder now always takes you to that dose, even when the app was fully closed. Dates and times • Add today in one tap: a plus button adds today, and a Today button brings the calendar back to this month. • See which days have reminders: dates with reminders now show a dot, so they never look like today's mark. • Jump straight to a date: tap any date or day in your schedule to open it, with a nudge so you see where you landed. • Remove any time: removing the last time on a date removes the date as well. • Better starting times: a new date copies the times you already use, or picks the next quarter hour when it's today. • Labels stay readable: Critical and Block badges scroll instead of getting squeezed. Clearer at a glance • Paused and finished medications show their status in your list. • Pausing, resuming or finishing a medication shows a short confirmation, and offers to save any unsaved edits first. • The save button only lights up when you've actually changed something. • Redesigned notices throughout the app, and a calmer loading indicator. • When a new version is available, a notice takes you straight to the App Store. Fixes • Setup no longer appears again after you've finished it. • Screen Time access granted during setup is recognised right away, and approving it no longer asks you to skip. • The notifications step in setup says Continue once you've answered. • The "reminders active until" warning no longer appears for a course that simply ends. • The medications list no longer flashes empty while it loads.
