Logbird

Pilot Logbook & FTL Tracker

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Built by an airline pilot for pilots. Import rosters and old logbooks, see your flying in detail, and get free help converting a stubborn export. YOUR LOGBOOK, YOUR DATA I'm an airline pilot, and I built Logbird for fellow pilots. It is shaped around the work we actually do: multi-sector days, changing rosters, duty hours and years of flight history. Bring in your schedule, record what happened and see the full picture of your flying in one personal logbook. EASY ROSTER IMPORT Import a compatible roster from an ICS calendar file, CSV, pasted text, PDF or photo. You can also select a roster from your iPhone calendar. Review the flights before saving, then add your actual OFF-block, takeoff, landing and ON-block times. Multi-sector days no longer have to start with typing every flight from scratch. MORE THAN A LIST OF FLIGHTS Track block, duty and night time, landings, currency, routes, aircraft and career totals. Explore trends and statistics built from your own flights, and check your duty day on Apple Watch. The FDP simulator helps you see how a delay could change your plan. BRING YOUR FLIGHT HISTORY Import compatible CSV, XLS and XLSX exports from other logbooks, including LogTen Pro and CrewLounge PILOTLOG. Logbird recognizes many columns automatically; you can map the rest and review a preview before importing. Have older hours without individual flight records? Add them as prior experience. If your export won't import correctly, email a copy to support@logbird.fi. We'll convert it into a Logbird-ready file for free and send it back. Sending a file is optional. Keep your original and check your flights and totals after importing. PILOT FEEDBACK MATTERS If a roster causes trouble, something doesn't work as expected or you have an idea that would make Logbird more useful in your work, write to support@logbird.fi. We'll do our best to help and use pilot feedback to keep improving the app. YOUR LOGBOOK, YOUR DATA Your flights stay on your iPhone or iPad, with optional sync through your own iCloud account. Export EASA- or FAA-style logbook PDFs, Excel and CSV files, or a restorable JSON backup. No Logbird account, ads or tracking. Regular imports are processed on your device; our support team receives a file only if you choose to email it for help. Try all features for 14 days from your first recorded or imported flight. After that, keep using the basic logbook with up to 50 flights at no charge. Premium adds unlimited flights and advanced features through an auto-renewing yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. The 14-day try-out does not start a paid subscription or charge you automatically. A yearly subscription is billed when you choose to buy it and renews until cancelled. Prices are shown in your App Store before purchase. Logbird is a personal recordkeeping and planning tool, not a certified official logbook. Its FDP and FTL calculations are estimates. Always follow your operator's procedures and the rules of the relevant authority.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Import from other logbook apps, correct times from Excel files on every phone, and a faster Flights page for long careers. IMPORT • Exports from ForeFlight, LogTen Pro, Safelog, RosterBuster, FlyLog.io, CrewLounge PILOTLOG and the FlightLog app are read by their own column names — import the file as it is. • Names with ä, ö or å in a CSV or text file import as written. • Times in Excel files are the times written in them, whatever time zone your phone is in. A Finnair CMS export no longer shifts block times by your UTC offset. • A CSV with hours as 1:55 no longer imports them as a fraction of a day. • A CSV with decimal commas imports the hours it says: 1,5 is an hour and a half, where it used to come in as 15. • Finnair CMS flights import as AY812 / OH-LXC / A320, so the next roster sync recognises them, and a PF leg gets its take-off and landing. • PICUS hours logged in a PIC column stay PICUS, a flight number copied from a roster line becomes that leg's number, and a previous-experience total is not imported as a flight. • LogTen Pro's .txt export can be chosen for import: clocks written 1712, fuel written 11 700,0 and simulator sessions logged as an aircraft all come through. • Hood time from ForeFlight or LogTen no longer turns a flight into a simulator session. • A roster file's standby, office and day-off rows are no longer imported as flights, a DH leg is a deadhead, and dates written 01/06/2026 are read day first throughout the file. • A landing logged without a take-off stays that way: the importer no longer adds a take-off the file says was not yours. FLIGHTS • New in the flight form: Total Fuel and Uplift, and a Delay Code for the code your airline gives a delay. The technical field is now "Technical Status / Defects". • Every Advanced section — passengers included — is on for new users; hide any you do not use with its gear. • Picking a year shows that year's flights, with the year's totals; × brings every year back. • A back-to-top button appears once the list is well scrolled. ELSEWHERE • Large logbooks save and open Statistics much faster. • The FDP card says what it assumed for a duty — "3 pilots · Class 1 rest" — instead of only asking you to confirm. A rest facility you choose in Settings counts as yours, so an ordinary long-haul duty no longer asks every time. • 63 more airports, among them every open airfield in Finland. • The flight form says when an airport code is not in the airport list — no night time, local time or map for it — and takes you to add it. Your entry is kept as a draft. • The prior-experience note on the dashboard opens the Prior Experience card. • SELF in an imported logbook is you: it no longer shows as a colleague on the People page or in the crew suggestions. Nor does your old name, on the flights logged before you changed it in Settings. • Export can write SELF in place of your own name (CSV, Excel and print), as other logbook apps and the paper logbook do. • Statistics: "consecutive sectors with same F/O" no longer counts your own seat, and "crew flown with" on the year card no longer counts you.
