Can you unlock it? - Crop your photos and trim your videos before posting. - Post in the background: after you tap Post, keep using the app while it uploads. A small progress circle in the corner shows how it's going. - Earned rings: achievements now unlock unique rings and flames that are yours forever. Look for the gift icon on achievements that come with a reward. - 14 new Pro color sets for your ring and flame. - 25 new app icons for Pro, plus the classic icon free for everyone. - Biti now lives on your profile and on your home screen widget, and reacts to your day: cheering, worried when your streak is at risk, or sleepy. Tap him a few too many times and see what happens. - Halloween event during October: a spooky new look and a free Halloween ring to pick for yourself. Improved: - Videos upload faster and smaller while staying sharp, and long videos are split into parts automatically. - Photos always show in their feed crop, and tapping a video opens it full screen. - Swipe right to go back on any page with a back button. - The profile tabs move like the navigation bar, and every tab remembers where you scrolled. - New reactions appear live on any post you're looking at. - Your iPhone can now save your BeThere password when you sign in with email. - Upload errors now tell you what went wrong, and drafts of long videos are kept safely. - The daily recap now includes all your friends, even on days you didn't post. Check out everything below. 16 new achievements to chase: • Sprints: Triple Digits, Big Week, Monster Week, Big Month and Legendary Month • Perfect Week, Full Spectrum and Hardcore Week • Early Bird, Night Owl and Wake-up Call • Sherlock, Kind Soul, Big Fan, Say Cheese and Recruiter Improved • Leaderboard ties now share a place: two people with equal points are both 2nd, not 2nd and 3rd • Choose who can see your achievements: Everyone, Friends or Only me (Settings → Privacy) • Profiles always show Recent and Achievements side by side, with a clear note when one is private • Top post and Most Loved now count RealMoji reactions too • A bigger, easier-to-tap camera reaction button in the feed Fixed • Pull down to close the reactions list now works • "Share publicly" / "Make private" shows the right state when opened from your profile • Popups no longer get stuck on days without a daily recap • Popups no longer stack on top of each other

BeThere 2.1 brings A LOT! Here is everything that's new: - Discover: a second tab on Home with public posts from creators and other public accounts, in a rolling 24-hour window. It has an end, no endless scrolling. - Public account: verified creators can share posts publicly in Discover, and choose per post whether it goes to friends or to everyone. - Report comments, and delete any comment on your own post. - New sign-up flow: clearer steps for notifications, camera and contacts, plus find friends from your contacts. - Invite by QR code: show the code on "Friends" tab and a friend scans it. - Account & security: change your email or password, see which devices are signed in and sign them out, and get an email when there's a new sign-in. - Settings rebuilt into six clear sections, with a list of friends you've muted. - Cancel a friend request you've sent. - Leaderboards: "Show more" beyond the top 50, and your own row stays pinned to the edge of the screen so you always see where you are. - Profile posts are grouped by month. We also improved a lot: - Notifications about friends' posts unlock themselves once you've completed your day. - Replying to a comment no longer sends two notifications. - The weekly recap also counts RealMojis and good deeds. - Toast messages have one look, and can be swiped away. - The widget rolls over to a new day on its own, without opening the app. - Better layout of the tab bar on iPad, and clearer icons in dark mode. oh and yeah. We fixed some bugs as well: - Long videos uploaded from the gallery load faster. - The reaction bonus is calculated from the challenge's own points. - Reaction counts on a profile match those in the feed. - The mute button on a preview mutes instead of opening full screen. That is 2.1 — and the next one is already taking shape. Discover is only the beginning: we are working towards opening it up to everyone, and there is plenty more on the way.

Finding your friends just got easier. Setting up BeThere now checks your contacts for people you already know, so your feed isn't empty on day one. Your contacts stay on your phone — we never store them. Also in this update: • Your widget now updates itself at midnight, instead of showing yesterday until you opened the app. • Big, high-resolution videos from your camera roll now upload and play properly. • A clearer walkthrough for your first post. • Various fixes and polish across the app.

What's new: NEW • Pro looks — pick a colour for your streak flame and a ring for your profile picture. Your friends see them on your profile, in the feed and on the leaderboard. • React with any emoji. Pro members now get the full emoji keyboard, with search, instead of the standard set. IMPROVED • A fresh new sign-in screen — and your iPhone can now save and fill your BeThere password. • We'll check before you leave a post you haven't shared yet, so a photo you just took never disappears by accident. FIXED • Tapping someone in your profile visitors now opens their profile. • If one of your posts was removed, you can complete that challenge again.

BeThere 2.0 is our biggest update yet. A redesigned experience with new ways to show up for your friends every day. Press and hold a video to fast-forward. • Pro and Verified badges now appear on the leaderboards. • Your subscription now clearly shows whether Pro renews or expires — with a one-tap Resubscribe if it's set to expire. • Fixed a "restore your streak" prompt that could appear even when a freeze had already saved your streak. • Smoother media everywhere: steadier photo counters, cleaner fullscreen controls, and the same zoom & swipe on the posting preview.
