reads the total, provider, usage, and plan clues, then checks your recurring
bill against alternative rates available in your country. You see a practical
savings estimate before you decide whether to switch.
No photo? Enter the bill by hand. Manual entry keeps monthly re-checks and
reminders working, but the scanner remains the main flow.
BillScout is a pragmatic, no-BS bill scanner built for people who suspect
they're overpaying but have never had the time to compare rates. Everything
happens on-device - your bill photos, extracted totals, and manually entered
bill rows stay on your phone. Switch links only open public provider pages;
they do not send your bill photo, OCR text, or bill rows to BillScout or the
provider. No account. No email. No data broker.
