• New icon: the speech bubble now reads 幫你罵 in Traditional Chinese. • The Pro plans on the Pro screen now describe what Pro actually includes.

Fixes and a more honest Pro screen. • On iOS 27 and macOS 27, some replies showed an error instead of a labelled example when Apple's on-device model declined to write them. Fixed: you now get the labelled example. • "Make it sendable" works far more often on devices with Apple Intelligence — it used to be declined for most real vent drafts. • Buying Pro now confirms it and closes the Pro screen, and a failed purchase or restore tells you why instead of doing nothing. • On devices without Apple Intelligence, the Pro screen now says plainly which parts need it, and new users there start on Vent. • Taiwan: crisis lines now list 1925, 1995 and 1980 first. • Japanese: stronger safety screening on private drafts.

A small update that makes the app say what it actually does. • The summary at the top of the Pro screen now lists what Pro adds — Feral, Savage, all 24 styles and more — and no longer names Vent, which has been free since 1.6.0. • Clearer privacy wording: if you don't allow Cloud AI, nothing is sent and Vent / Feral show clearly-marked examples. The app used to say they would just be gentler. The Pro screen now also says what Pro removes: credits. • Vent no longer shows a padlock, on its button or on the draft. The draft is still marked "for yourself only". • If you pick a style or intensity that needs Pro, the message now says so, instead of saying you'd run out of free generations. • Comeback cards you share now carry the name you can search for on the App Store: "RoastMate AI" (幫你罵 in Traditional Chinese, 帮你骂 in Simplified). • Settings in Traditional Chinese and Japanese: two items that showed untranslated text are now translated. • The research-interview invite is gone from Settings. The interviews have ended.

Vent no longer needs Pro. • Vent — the mode RoastMate is named for — is now open to everyone. Write out the reply you can't send and get it all out. It uses our cloud model, so the draft is a real response on every iPhone. It asks your permission first, and each draft uses one credit — new users start with free ones. • Traditional Chinese on Taiwan and Hong Kong phones: those devices were being told to answer in Simplified characters. Fixed. • The Pro screen now says plainly when Savage can only show examples on your device.

An honesty fix. • If your device doesn't have Apple Intelligence, some modes were quietly showing you a canned example instead of a real response — and still spending one of your credits for it. Those responses are now labelled wherever they appear, they never cost a credit, and an empty wallet no longer blocks them. • Traditional Chinese: the built-in example responses now come in Traditional characters. They were being shown in Simplified. • The safety filter was missing the Traditional-character forms of several self-harm and violence phrases. Traditional and Simplified are now screened the same way.

Voice input is fixed. • The microphone wasn't actually capturing anything — the audio session was never configured, so tapping the mic opened the sheet and no text ever appeared. Voice venting works now. • Pro subscribers using the roommate group are now correctly counted against the Pro allowance instead of the free one. • The shareable card is further hardened: it renders only your polished, sendable reply, its text can't be edited before sharing, and names, phone numbers, ID numbers and WeChat/QQ contacts are stripped on-device before anything is drawn.

Your private drafts are now genuinely private. • Removed every way to accidentally share a Vent or Feral draft: no share sheet, no share-to-image, no text selection on a private draft. Copy is still there when you want it. • The shareable image card now only ever shows your polished, sendable reply — and its text can no longer be edited before sharing. • Corrected our Privacy Policy and in-app privacy text to describe iCloud sync accurately: your history syncs through your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read.

Reliability and speed improvements for AI-generated vents. We tuned the cloud path so drafts come back faster and more dependably.

RoastMate now supports iPhone running iOS 18 and later — a much wider range of devices. Voice venting works on more devices too. Thanks for using RoastMate!

Stability and polish improvements.

· Stability improvements and clearer wording on how Vent and Feral private drafts use AI (they stay on your device unless you explicitly allow cloud).
