Companion to Lumora. Pick a folder or several .md.enc files at once, type the password, and get plain Markdown. Everything happens on your Mac. Lumora Decryptor is the macOS companion to Lumora, the private journaling app for iPhone. When you export your diary from Lumora in encrypted mode, every entry becomes a small "*.md.enc" file. Those files are useless on their own — they're protected with the password you typed in Lumora and the same AES-256 encryption Apple uses for its own products. Lumora Decryptor is the key. Drop a folder, or pick several .md.enc files at once. Type the password. Lumora Decryptor writes a plain-Markdown copy to the folder you choose. From there, you can: • Read your journal in any text editor on your Mac • Feed the entries to a desktop AI assistant for reflection prompts • Archive a long-term copy on a hard drive you control • Migrate your journal somewhere else Picked too many by accident? Remove individual files from the selection with one tap on the × button — no need to re-pick from scratch. Why this app exists ——————————————— Lumora keeps your journal on your iPhone, end-to-end encrypted at rest. We do not have a cloud server, so we cannot decrypt anything for you. This companion app is how you read your own data on a bigger screen — without ever sending it through anyone else's hands.
