Our Terms of Use and Privacy policy are now in Settings, and the Premium offer says plainly what you get: a one-time purchase, pay once, no subscription. Anyone creating or joining a family now confirms they are 13 or over and, if under 18, that a parent or guardian says they can use Bagsie.

Bagsie is now the family seating app: fair seats in the car and on the sofa. The Premium card now lists the Lounge, and the app's name on Android home screens now starts with a capital letter.

Introducing the Lounge, a new Premium tab for settling who sits where on the sofa. Draw your room as a grid of seats, choose the best spots in order, and Bagsie shares them out fairly over time. Save a seat for someone when it is theirs, and see every viewing as a picture of the room. Also: names with apostrophes, like Mum's car, now work when typed on an iPhone.

Guests now have numbers. When more than one guest is coming along, the seat layout and trip history show Guest 1, Guest 2 and so on, so everyone can see who sits where. Agree who is who before you assign seats.

A tidier Bagsie, clearing the way for new features coming soon. The Home tab has gone: your family lives on the Roster, where the family owner also sees new join requests. Share your family code from the new button on the Roster, or send it straight to someone with both download links. Settings now starts with your plan, shows your latest two trips with the option to see more, and is where you sign out. The download QR codes have a page of their own in Settings.

Trips are now planned and confirmed by the family owner and admins, who are also the ones who can upgrade to Premium. Everyone else sees the latest confirmed trip's seating on the Trip tab, along with trip history, fairness stats and their own profile, and no longer sees buttons they cannot use.

Who picks the music? Once your trip is confirmed, Premium families can let Bagsie choose one person in the car, the driver, a passenger or a guest, to pick the music. Also: Bagsie now carries its own font instead of downloading it, and the emoji picker fits larger screens properly.

Premium is now a one-time purchase. Bagsie Premium used to be a yearly subscription. It is now a single payment: buy it once and your family keeps it. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
