This update improves the overall look and stability of Macromiz. • Fixed font, color, and text display issues • Improved spacing, alignment, and UI consistency • Added compatibility and stability improvements for the latest app framework.

-- Push Notifications & FCM Improved Notification Settings with separate preferences for Contest Updates, Posts & Entries, and Tips & Offers. Added system push-permission detection for Android/iOS and warning UI when app preferences are enabled but device permission is missing. Implemented FCM token Repair and Advanced Repair flows using restoreFcmToken and forceCreateFcmToken. Updated Firestore rules for users/{uid}/fcm_tokens and removed token lookup logic that required unnecessary collection-group indexes. -- Contest Reminder Cloud Function Reworked sendContestReminders to prevent incorrect unfinished-draft notifications. Added stricter draft/user/contest validation, duplicate protection, and detailed production diagnostic logs. Preserved invalid FCM token documents instead of automatically deleting them for safer production debugging. -- Dynamic Banner UI Added custom StyledMarkdown support for Firestore-driven banner text. Added **bold text** formatting, configurable font size, text color, and line height. Implemented dynamic text-height calculation for responsive banners and improved layout behavior on different phone sizes. -- AI-Generated Image Detection Added Sightengine-based AI image detection flow for uploaded contest media. Added Firestore fields for storing AI-check results and designed a non-blocking warning approach for detected AI-generated images. Configured detection to run only once per uploaded image to reduce API usage.

-- Push Notifications & Notification Settings Implemented segmented notification preferences for Contest Updates, Posts & Entries, and Tips & Offers using user-level Firestore flags. Added notification permission detection to correctly identify cases where preferences are enabled in Firestore but Android/iOS system notification permission is missing after reinstall. Added Notification Settings warning UI when device-level notification permission is disabled. Implemented user-accessible "Push notifications not working? Repair" flow for restoring FCM registration. Added Advanced Repair flow to recreate the device FCM token when normal token restoration does not resolve delivery problems. Updated restoreFcmToken and forceCreateFcmToken to avoid Firestore collection-group queries and unnecessary fcm_token indexes. -- FCM Token Management & Firestore Security Added secure Firestore access rules for users/{uid}/fcm_tokens so authenticated users can manage only their own device tokens. Improved FCM token restoration/recreation logic with permission checks, authentication checks, device type detection, and clear SUCCESS/ERROR results. Preserved invalid FCM token documents instead of automatically deleting them, allowing production issues to be diagnosed safely. -- Home Page Component Architecture Refactored Contest Details and Banner Details into reusable component/wrapper logic with callback-based state updates. Fixed component callback propagation so visibility changes can correctly update Home page state. Improved live Firestore query handling and On Data Change behavior for automatically changing contest lists.

-- Database & Collections Schema Added new notifications Firestore collection schema with fields: targetUserRef, title, message, createdAt, isRead, and relatedContestRef to handle user-specific alerts and unread status. Added new global_announcements Firestore collection schema with fields: title, message, createdAt, and expireAt for system-wide platform broadcasts. -- Backend & Cloud Functions Implemented claimWinnerReward Cloud Function with strict authentication checks (context.auth), parameter validation, and secure Firestore batch updates to remove items from pending rewards queues and update user roles. Configured and deployed automated retention and engagement Cloud Functions: sendReminderReminders, sendUrgencyReminders, sendWinnerValueMarketing, sendFeatureUSPMarketing, and sendTrendingContestAlerts. -- Theme & Branding System Established primary deep orange affordance coloring for active tabs, sliders, and action buttons. Enforced secondary gold color accents strictly for gamification UI elements, badges, stars, and user profile ratings.
