Life comes at you fast. Who has time to jot it all down? But without notes aren’t we all tossed on the seas of memory - not remembering up from down. But then - along comes this app. Every time you write some element - say a book title or a friend’s name - it remembers it. So next time you revisit that category you can simply tap those options - making entry easy and search straightforward. So under books you have “started a book” “finished a book” “bought a book” etc. I’ve added a couple of fields like “recommended by” and “recommended to” making later look up by person a breeze. It’s enormously powerful and simple. Sadly it doesn’t quite remember the categories across fields (that I can see) so a recommenders of movies is a separate level than of books. But because you can look up by category or sub category - hooboy - lots of power in making sense of life’s shifting seasons that we sail on. Even better - it’s with bucks. One time fee. Done. Can we stop with everyone $9.99 a monthing us to death please?I went looking for a simple journal app. I stumbled on this. And I think it’s gold. It’s not technically meant as a journal app - but I’ve created a categories that will let it track all that. Better than apple journal which is so free form it’s hard to keep track. And better than all those money hungry apps exhorting us all to be better at every turn. This simply tracks what’s happening in a super clean, logical, easy to enter easy to find format. Amazing value.
