Notifications fixed on iPhone. Booking messages, Watch Me alerts, lost dog alerts and walk updates now reach your iPhone again. Just open WoofWalk once after updating. Nothing else has changed: same walks, same points, same adverts.

Commenting, reacting and voting in a community you have not joined now works: we join you to the community first. Charity walks: a clearer statement of how charity advert money is shared, and a prompt to choose again if your charity leaves the programme. Own a business listed on WoofWalk? Claim it straight from its profile page. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

Events fixed, account deletion for businesses, and a few improvements. Events: the Events screen now loads nearby events again, and your own events show up under My Events. Business owners can now delete their account from Settings. The app shows which businesses will be deleted with it and asks you to confirm first. Providers without a photo now show an illustrated cover picture instead of a plain colour, matching the website. Setting up a business now asks you to confirm you are 18 or over. Before you upload a DBS certificate, the app now explains why we ask, who can see it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. Adding a DBS check is optional.

Days off, limits and real prices. For walkers and pet businesses: you can now add days off from the Availability tab, and your daily booking limit now applies on your booking page as well, so clients can't book you on a day you're away or already full. If your business is marked as not taking new clients, the app now respects it: you are left out of search, and your profile shows "Not taking new clients right now". Walkers who set their price in the setup wizard now show their real price in search and on their profile, instead of no price or the wrong one. Cash bookings now follow the same check the server uses, so a cash booking the business can accept is no longer turned away by mistake.

Real hours, real prices. Booking a walker now respects the hours they work. If a time is outside their availability, the app tells you before you book instead of after. The price you see when booking is now the price the walker charges you, including any personal price they have agreed with you. If the app cannot reach the server it shows an estimate and says so. For walkers and pet businesses: clients you bring to WoofWalk yourself pay your lowest commission rate from day one. The commission explanation in the app has been rewritten to match. Clients invited by their walker can now connect on iPhone straight from the invite link.

Add your dog - right from the map. If you signed up without adding your dog, the map now shows a friendly prompt so your walks, dog friends and charity points all start counting properly. Tap it to add your dog, or dismiss it and carry on. If you already have dogs on your profile you won't see it. Nothing else has changed: same points, same adverts, same walks.

Fixed a pricing bug when booking a walk for more than one dog — the booking now correctly reflects every dog, not just the first. Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Fixed a bug where your walk distance could reset to zero if the app was interrupted mid-walk. Walk sharing now shows your route by default with the start and end hidden, and there is a new option to hide just the start. Clearer explanations when a walk is too short to share a route. Fixes to the dog profile, adoption shortlist, groomer search and post-walk recap screens. Closed and delisted venues no longer appear in leaderboards.

• Fixed: the map torch icon jumping out of place. • Fixed: dog selection at walk setup sometimes showing “no dogs” when it just needed a moment to load. • Fixed: a couple of screens showing raw text instead of proper labels. • Fixed: the charity top-up screen cutting off text on smaller phones. • Fixed: the walk recap share button sometimes appearing blank. • Leaderboard and post-walk cards now match the app's brand colours. • A few more screens no longer say “not found” before they've actually finished loading.

• Improved battery use: the app no longer keeps location running in the background after you browse pubs, vets, hotels or plan a journey.

• Best Pub and Best Vet leaderboards now open properly and show the rankings — they were coming up empty. • Tapping a pub or vet on a leaderboard now opens that venue instead of doing nothing.

• New to WoofWalk? The app now opens on Sign Up instead of Sign In, so creating your account is the first thing you see. • Clearer wording on the sign-in screen so returning users know they are in the right place.

Walk reliability fixes: • If a walk was interrupted before it finished saving, starting your next walk no longer discards it. • Walks recovered after an interruption now show their real distance and duration instead of zeros. • Very long walks now save reliably instead of failing to upload.

Behind-the-scenes improvements. No changes to how the app works for you.

Walk tracking is more reliable in this update. Walks no longer freeze part-way through, and switching apps mid-walk no longer loses the last stretch of your route. A finished walk can no longer be overwritten by an older backup copy, so your distance stays correct. Plus general stability improvements.

Fixes a crash when opening the trails layer on the map, and makes the trails layer show walking routes rather than roads. Your saved phone number and address now appear correctly in your profile. Leaderboards no longer show sample venues. Various privacy and stability improvements.
