Claudometer lives in your Mac's menu bar and shows your token usage at a glance. A small battery, gauge, or ring sit next to the clock and quietly turns from green to orange to red as you approach your five-hour session and weekly limits.
Pop the bar icon for full detail:
• Live "Resets in…" countdown for each
• A trend line showing the last few hours
• One-tap refresh
Quiet alerts:
• Optional notifications when you cross the Warning or Critical thresholds
• Reset notifications when your five-hour window refreshes
• No noise at safe usage
Notification Center widget:
Drag Claudometer onto your desktop or into Notification Center for the same usage view, always one swipe away.
Two-click setup:
Sign in to your account once. Claudometer grabs your session key from the embedded browser and saves it to the macOS
Keychain - no DevTools, no copy-paste.
Privacy first:
• Your session key never leaves your Mac except for the requests needed to fetch your usage
• No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no servers in between
• Refresh interval and notification thresholds are entirely under your control
Also on iPhone:
Claudometer shows the same usage as widgets on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Track a second AI coding tool. Connect your other AI coding assistant in Settings (one-time folder access, no extra sign-in) and its 5-hour and weekly limits appear in their own popover section and in the widgets. The Dual Bar icon becomes a side-by-side comparison of both tools once connected.
One card per model limit. Every model-specific weekly limit your plan reports gets its own card.
Popover fits without scrolling. Cards scale down through four density levels so all limits stay on screen. Per-card icons removed.
Widgets. Both tools shown as rings side by side in every size; the large widget no longer overflows. Countdowns past 24 hours show days ("5d 21h").
