New in 1.8.8: • Paid errands: if your company allows errand starts, start a GPS-verified errand before you reach the site and arrive with one tap, with no gap in your time. • Client portal in the app: customers can follow their work, send booking requests and chat with you, including photos and files. • Check-out takes a fresh GPS position. • You are asked about notifications only once, right after location. • Text fields and sheets stay clear of the keyboard.

Improved reliability when refreshing pending check-ins and check-outs while your phone is locked. Pending registrations stay available and the app retries when secure storage becomes accessible again.

New: work assignments in team chat. Managers can create a task right in a chat and assign it to an employee or leave it open for anyone to take. Everyone follows it on a card from open to done, and in a site chat the task belongs to that site. Clearer messages when a task has changed or you're offline, and longer notifications are no longer cut off.

Chat gets a "+" menu: share photos, files, work reports, shifts and sites straight into a conversation, add a caption to a photo or PDF, and forward a photo or PDF to another chat in your company. Co-admins can now approve shift swaps and manage site chats. History shows when a check-out was entered by an administrator, and a correction history appears only when something was actually corrected. More reliable sign-in and sign-out when you switch accounts.

Check-ins and check-outs are more reliable than ever: if the connection drops or the server is busy, your registration shows as pending straight away and is sent automatically when the connection is back — never lost, never counted twice. Conversations with customers are marked "Customer" in chat. The app now tells you when an update is available, and you can send us feedback from your profile. Clearer sync messages and better contrast in light and dark mode.

Reply to chat messages right from the notification. The lock-screen check-in view now also appears when the shift was started elsewhere and clears when it ends. Profile changes now save correctly, plus several fixes.

• Fixed: a check-out could be discarded if your check-in had not finished syncing. It is now kept and sent once the connection returns. • The Face ID / Touch ID prompt and several in-app texts now appear correctly in Danish. • More reliable sign-out, and cached data is now tied to the signed-in account.

Easier to read. Labels, values and icons throughout the app now use colours that meet accessibility contrast standards, so text stays legible in bright sunlight on site and in dark mode at the end of a shift. Nothing moved — it is the same app, just clearer.

Register absence straight from the app — holiday, sick leave and weather days (vejrlig). Holiday requests go to your employer for approval, and everything you submit is saved on the device first, so a lost signal never loses your entry. Notifications are quieter now: you only get pinged for things you actually need to act on. Employers can require a short report at checkout, and each work site gets its own chat group.

Introducing Team Chat — message your crew right inside GeoTid. Direct and group chats, automatic per-site groups, photo sharing, and shift-swap requests your employer can approve from the dashboard. Your profile now lives in the header for quicker access, plus stability improvements.

Fixes a login issue for accounts with two-factor authentication enabled, plus offline-sync and stability improvements.

New: optional location reminders. Turn on "Nudge me at job sites" in Notification settings and GeoTid reminds you to check in when you arrive at a job site and check out when you leave — so you never lose hours. Off by default, you decide whether to check in or out, and nothing is tracked or shared.

Work reports rebuilt: report per area with stars, photos and tap-in statements — each address remembers its own areas for the next visit. One deliberate release publishes to the customer portal and emails the PDF together. Reports now survive a crash: drafts save continuously, and offline submissions send automatically when coverage returns. Create a new site right from the field, with a GPS accuracy check and duplicate guard. Also fixed: forgot-password no longer fails silently.
