USAGE AT A GLANCE
A small colored badge in your menu bar shows your current 5-hour session status. Green means you have room. Yellow means you’re getting close. Red means it’s time to slow down.
Open the panel to see Claude and Codex side by side. Each provider shows session and weekly usage, reset timing and pace estimates.
SMART ALERTS
Get native macOS notifications when usage crosses your chosen threshold. Alerts are designed to warn you before a limit interrupts your work.
30-DAY HISTORY
BurnGauge keeps a local usage history so you can see your daily session peaks and average usage by hour of day.
PRIVACY
Your data stays on your Mac.
BurnGauge has no servers and no BurnGauge account system. You don’t create a BurnGauge login, and you don’t share usernames or passwords with BurnGauge.
Your provider credentials stay in macOS Keychain or in the local files already used by the provider command-line tools. BurnGauge reads those local credentials only so it can make direct HTTPS requests to the services you already use.
We don’t run telemetry. We don’t track you. We don’t sell data. There is no BurnGauge server collecting your usage.
