Sample-accurate click, one-tap setlists and a Speed Trainer that ramps your tempo automatically. Practice logged, streak counted, nothing uploaded.
A click you can trust, a setlist that remembers every song, and a Speed Trainer that pushes your tempo up while you play. Tap Tempo is the studio metronome built for the way musicians actually practice and perform.
Most metronome apps stop at a beep. Tap Tempo schedules every click sample-accurately on the audio engine so the downbeat lands exactly where it should, from 30 to 300 BPM, and it keeps clicking in the background while you read charts, record, or lock your phone. Big dial, one-handed Tap, no clutter.
WHAT YOU GET
• Nail the tempo of any song in seconds: turn the oversized dial, nudge with +/-, or tap the beat in and let Tap Tempo read your pulse
• Never guess a count-in again: the visual beat strip and a heavier haptic on beat one keep you anchored to the downbeat, even with the volume down
• Break through speed plateaus: set a start BPM, a target, a step size and measures per step, and the Speed Trainer ramps you up automatically
• Walk on stage prepared: save the tempo, time signature, subdivision and a note for every song, then recall the right click with one tap
• Play in any feel: 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8 and 9/8, with quarter, 8th, triplet and 16th subdivisions and an optional accented downbeat
• Watch your discipline add up: every session is logged automatically with minutes, top BPM and a day streak you will not want to break
PERFECT FOR
• Drummers and percussionists who need a click that never drifts, at rehearsal or with in-ears on stage
• Guitarists, bassists and pianists working a tricky passage up from slow and clean to full speed
• Students and teachers who want practice time counted honestly, without a separate journal app
• Working bands and worship teams that run a setlist and need every count-off ready the instant the song is called
WHY NOT JUST USE A BUILT-IN TIMER OR A BASIC BEEP APP?
Timers drift, generic beeps stop the moment the screen locks, and none of them know that your ballad is in 6/8 at 72 or that your solo needs to climb from 90 to 140. Tap Tempo keeps sample-accurate time, keeps playing in the background, keeps your whole set, and keeps score of your practice, in one screen with zero setup.
