MotifPilot's local, rule-driven engine builds a theory-aware four-track sketch starter with chords, bass, arp, and melody so you can preview the idea, shape the arrangement, try another variation, and export usable Standard MIDI files for your DAW or file-sharing workflow.

- Generate 4, 8, or 16 bar MIDI sketch starters from clear musical controls.
- Work in 12 keys across all pitch classes.
- Start from pop, trap, house, R&B, cinematic, techno, trance, hardstyle, UK garage, drill, D&B, lofi, and hip-hop directions.
- Use Next idea to create another sketch from the same setup.
- Enter your own chord progression, replace selected chords, or explore chord and progression suggestions.
- Preview the result with built-in playback.
- Focus tracks with mute and solo controls.
- Push variations such as simpler, darker, jazzier, more emotional, more sparse, more rhythmic, tension, and resolve.
- Edit focused tracks with octave, transpose, quantize, velocity, duration, note movement, add, and delete controls.
- Undo and redo edits while exploring.
- Export a full starter MIDI file, individual-track MIDI files, a plain-text DAW import guide, and a ZIP package through the iOS share sheet.
- Keep recent projects and export records saved in the local Library on this device.
- Open saved projects in Studio, export projects again, rename, tag, search, share, batch-manage, and delete local items.
- Detect missing export files and rebuild the package when the remaining local files or linked project can support it.
MotifPilot is not a full DAW, audio generator, one-click song maker, giant MIDI pack browser, direct DAW integration service, or AI prompt-to-MIDI service. It is a local-first MIDI sketching tool for creating editable musical starting points that you can import into your DAW.
