UV Index & Tanning App: Suntic

Sun, SPF, Vitamin D & Sunburn

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Real-time UV built for your skin type. Know how long you can safely stay out, get a reminder before you burn, and track the vitamin D you make in the sun. Know exactly when to catch the sun, and when to cover up. Suntic turns the live UV index into clear, personal guidance so you can tan smarter and avoid a surprise sunburn. Suntic reads the real-time UV index for your exact location from Apple Weather, then tailors everything to your skin type: how long you can safely stay out, when to reapply sunscreen, and how much vitamin D you are making. WHAT YOU GET • Real-time UV index: live levels for your location, updated through the day • 10-day UV forecast: plan beach days, workouts, and trips around the sun • Personalized burn time: personal sun limits based on your skin type and SPF • Smart sunscreen reminders: a timely nudge to reapply before you burn • Vitamin D tracking: see how much you make from daily sun exposure • Guided sun routines: short, structured sessions with flip and finish alerts • Skin insights: a personalized reading to understand your skin and your tan goals ON YOUR WRIST Suntic includes a full, independent Apple Watch app, plus Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and watch complications. Check the UV index at a glance, run a guided routine, and feel haptic flip reminders, with no iPhone nearby needed. SYNCS WITH APPLE HEALTH Every session can save your UV exposure, time in daylight, and estimated vitamin D to Apple Health, so your sun data lives alongside the rest of your health picture. BUILT FOR SAFETY, NOT JUST A TAN Suntic is designed to help you avoid sunburn. It applies sensible limits to session length and SPF based on your skin type and age. This is guidance, not pressure. Suntic does not provide medical advice, so always listen to your skin and protect it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your location is used only to fetch local UV. Your health data and on-device AI insights stay on your device. We do not sell your data. HOW IT WORKS 1. Set your skin type and location 2. Check today's UV and your sun window 3.
