Are you a surveyor? engineer? work in a trade (carpenter, plumber, electrician)? any job where you’re on the road and get calls about jobs, this app will help. Do you have a particular set of questions before you can schedule the new job? Easy, setup a form and every time a new client calls, just fill it in and save.
With Call Assistant it’s easy. Create a completely customised form that works for you using a simple click/drag interface and then when a new client calls you, just open the app, click new and fill in the details to create a record. Call Assistant can automatically create contacts in your phone and events in your calendar and syncs its records across your devices (iPhone and iPad).
Optionally make fields required and/or add them to the notes field in an event so you can see at a glance the clients name and contact details when you’re travelling to the appointment (Tip: if you add a phone number to a calendar event’s notes, it automatically makes a button in Calendar to easily call your client when you’re out on the road).
All Forms, records and custom fields are synchronised across your devices.

Build Forms

Integrations

• Travel times are calculated from either your current location (permission to use your location will be requested) or a ‘base address’ such as your home or office.

Quick Add fields are used in just a single form but if you collect similar information in a variety of forms you can create a ‘Custom Field’. These can be re-used across all forms and on all devices.

CONTACTS
- When a new record matches someone you already saved (same name, phone, or email) you can now choose to add to existing contact, create a new contact, or skip contact creation completely.
- Choosing ‘add to existing’ merges in new phone numbers, emails, and addresses instead of replacing the whole contact.
- Editing a record updates the linked contact instead of deleting and recreating it (helps when the same client has multiple jobs).
CALENDAR
- Event location now shows the address exactly as entered on the form. Map lookup still used for map and travel time (when enabled).
FIXES
- Fixed crashes when merging into an existing contact.
- Improved duplicate contact detection (including contacts from earlier Call Assistant records).
