The Bible, ready wherever you are.
Living Words Search & Audio brings the J. N. Darby (JND) and King James (KJV) translations together in one clear, unhurried app — made for reading Scripture carefully and keeping what you find along the way.
TWO TRANSLATIONS
- The complete JND translation, with its distinctive precision of language.
- The complete Authorised (King James) Version.
- Move between the two on the same passage, without losing your place.
- Clean, generous typography with adjustable text size for comfortable reading.
SEARCH THAT FINDS IT
- Search the full text of either translation in moments.
- Look up a reference directly — book, chapter and verse.
- Results shown in context, so you can see the passage before you open it.
YOUR NOTES, YOUR MARKINGS
- Highlight verses in a range of colours and build up your own reading of a passage over time.
- Write notes against any verse — a thought, a question, a cross-reference of your own.
- Bookmark passages and organise them into folders that make sense to you.
- Everything you mark is gathered in one place, so you can return to it.
PICKS UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
- The app remembers where you were reading and opens there next time.
- Sign in with Apple or Google and your notes, highlights and bookmarks follow you across your devices.
QUIET BY DESIGN
- No adverts.
- No clutter around the text — the page is for Scripture.
- Read offline once a book is open on your device.
Living Words Search & Audio is published by the Bible and Gospel Trust, a charitable trust engaged in the publication and distribution of Scripture and Christian literature.
