Listen to music and see what’s happening. Play an instrument and watch notes appear as colour. Touch the screen and explore the relationship between colour, pitch, harmony and melody.
At the heart of SLIDE is a simple colour wheel that maps the twelve notes scale around a continuous spectrum. As music plays, the wheel responds in real time, revealing notes, chords, melodies and patterns as they happen.
There’s no need to know music theory. SLIDE is designed to be understood by looking, listening and playing.
HEAR
Use your device’s microphone and SLIDE listens with you. Play music through a speaker, sing, play an instrument or explore the sounds around you.
SEE
Notes become colour. Pitch, register and intensity become visible, creating a live visual map of the music you’re hearing.
