Scan Inaccuracies
FS jock hrhhdhhakjsh
I'm just now getting into card collecting and even though I know some things I thought the scanner would be useful for me. I opened my first one piece pack ever just for fun and without knowing anything and scanned my hit card for it to come back as $250. I was obviously happy and pleasantly surprised by that, but then looked up the card in the apps catalog (the only redeeming quality of this app) and saw that my card was only worth about $22.I was confused so I went back to th previous scan to try and figure out what happened and the scanner had made up false information about the card such as what pack it belonged to and it's price. It's a specific rare art card that only has one other card that looks even close to similar but the price is in the thousands so it seems like the scanner just wants to make up whatever price it feels like. There's no reason to have this app. If you know your stuff and just want to keep a digital catalog of your collection, there are better apps and if you don't know the value just ask Claude.
Developer Response
Hi, thanks for your detailed feedback—we understand the concern. We take scanning accuracy seriously and keep working to improve recognition and valuation. If a scan doesn’t look right, please try again with the card clearly aligned, good lighting, and the full card in frame. If it still looks off, a screenshot of the scan result via Profile → Contact us in the app would help us look into it. Thanks again for trying Foloy.
Very inaccurate scans for Pokemon cards
Meltisaqt
The scanning feature is very inaccurate for Pokemon cards. I can scan the same card 4 times and get a way different answer every single time! And it’s a big difference! (For example it told me that a card was 20$ then it said 14$ when I rescanned, then 25 cent the next time, and then 1.50$ the final time I scanned, the card scanner needs to be fixed asap, it’s crazy having to PAY to use the scanner and then it doesn’t even work correctly.
Developer Response
Hi, we’re very sorry for the inconsistent results you experienced. For Pokémon cards, small differences such as set, variant, holo type, condition, and image angle can affect recognition and pricing, but the same card should not return such different estimates across scans. We understand how frustrating this is, especially for a paid feature. Our team is actively working to improve Pokémon card recognition and price matching accuracy. Thank you for sharing the specific example — it helps us identify and fix these issues faster.
Great for getting a better insight on your personal cards

Good app had to scan a few cards a few times to get different results. The results were all similar. Nothing crazy would recommend. Would love to see an upgraded version with grading.
Improved user experience and fixed minor issues.
