iPhone
Track watering, feeding, and growth. Photo timeline + year compare. Species-aware reminders. Free for up to 5 trees — Pro adds unlimited trees and removes ads.
Bonsai Pal is a care journal built for hobbyist growers. Log watering, feeding, pruning, and repotting for each tree, then watch your collection change over the years with a photo timeline and side-by-side compare.
Whether you’re tending your first juniper or managing a small shohin collection, Bonsai Pal keeps care simple and your progress visible.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Build a profile for every tree — 35+ species with care defaults, or “Other” with your own watering and feeding schedule
• Log care in seconds — water, fertilize, prune, repot — with notes and monthly history you can edit later
• Save your fertilizer products (pellets or liquid) for faster logging
• See what needs attention today on your collection list
• Get watering and fertilizing reminders based on species, season, and hemisphere — at a time you choose
• Browse a photo timeline for each tree and compare oldest vs newest to see real training progress
• Set a cover photo, optional tree age, and collection date
• Read species care tips while you work (general guidance, not professional advice)
• Sync across your iPhones with iCloud when you’re signed in
BUILT FOR THE LONG GAME
Bonsai is a years-long craft. Most apps stop at a checklist. Bonsai Pal is built around the photos — the proof that your wiring, pruning, and patience are paying off.
FREE & PRO
Free: Up to 5 trees with full care logging, photo timeline, year compare, reminders, and iCloud sync.
Bonsai Pal Pro (one-time purchase): Unlimited trees and no banner ads. Everything else stays the same — no subscription.
PRIVACY
No account required beyond iCloud for sync. The free tier shows non-personalized banner ads on some screens; Pro removes them entirely.
Made for growers who want fewer forgotten waterings and a visual record of every tree’s journey.
