Proof of Focus: No Scrolling

Prove Your Focus. Do Work.

Keep your focus on books, not your phone. Slacking off counts as a violation, adds a penalty, and alerts your friends. You can't fool yourself or your friends! Studying with books and notes open on your desk, but your hands keep drifting to your phone or other distractions? Proof of Focus is a social focus app that eliminates phone slacking and proves your real productivity through shared accountability. Create a focus room, place your phone on the desk, and stay in the app until the session ends. Proof of Focus does more than run a timer; it checks whether you actually stayed focused. Sending the app to the background or switching to another app during the session counts as a focus violation. When you violate the rules, the system records it, notifies the other people in the room, and adds penalty minutes. That makes focus social, not just personal. In a room, touching your phone or leaving the app can interrupt other people too. Your violation becomes visible, the room gets notified, and everyone can see that the study flow was broken. That shared accountability creates real pressure to finish the session without picking up your phone. PENALTY SYSTEM When you break the rules, focus debt is added to your account. Time away from the app adds +5 to +25 penalty minutes depending on how long you were gone. Penalty time is extra focus time you must complete without touching the phone and while staying in the app. While you have debt, you cannot create or join a normal strict room. First, enter the Penalty Room and clear the time alone. ROOM MODES Relaxed Mode: violation tracking and penalties are off. Study with friends in a more flexible room. Standard Mode: violation tracking is on. If you leave the app or switch to another app, only you receive the penalty. Others see the violation and get notified. Hardcore Mode: built for serious study groups. If one active participant breaks the rules, all active participants receive the penalty. One person's violation affects the whole room. WHY PROOF OF FOCUS? • Study without touching your phone • Create focus rooms with friends • Join rooms with invite codes • Track when participants leave the app • See who violated the rules and how many penalty minutes were added • Work with group accountability in Hardcore Mode • Earn XP, coins, levels, and daily streaks • Clear your focus debt in the Penalty Room • Track daily and weekly focus performance • Review recent rooms and violation history Proof of Focus makes the “I’ll just check my phone for a second” habit visible. When you leave the app, you do not only break your own session; you also disturb the focus of the room. The app records it, reports it, and turns it into a penalty. Put your phone down. Stay in the room. Prove your focus. Terms of Use: https://focus.ertdev.space/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://focus.ertdev.space/privacy/
