Thank you for using BlibBlob! Version 1.4 brings two new formats and a lot of care under the hood: • Open SVG files – vector graphics are rendered right at your target size, so they stay crisp even when enlarged. • Save as EPS – ideal for print shops and layout software. The quality slider works just like for PDF, and the print size follows your DPI setting. • Transparency stays intact – transparent areas in PNG, WebP and SVG images remain transparent after converting. • Clearer error messages – if a step such as the watermark or resizing can’t be completed, BlibBlob writes no image and tells you why in the list. The preview and the watermark window let you know about problems, too. • New log file – under Settings → Log File you can see what BlibBlob is doing. Handy if you ever need help from support. • Swift 6 – BlibBlob now runs on the latest version of Apple’s programming language, making it even more reliable when processing many images at once. • Ready for macOS 27 Golden Gate. This version makes working with many images far more direct: you can see at any time what will happen when you convert. • Presets at a glance. When saving, BlibBlob now shows all existing presets. A click picks up the name, and if it is already taken the button reads “Overwrite” – so you can no longer overwrite one by accident. • The list follows your settings. Target format, quality and target resolution are updated immediately as soon as you change something on the right. If images are selected, the change applies only to those, otherwise to all of them. • dpi and alpha channel per image. Both values can now be set for individual images instead of only for the whole run. • Two buttons fewer. “Apply to selection” and “Resolution” are no longer needed because everything is updated in real time. The number of selected images is now shown in the footer. • More in the “Show values” window. Alongside format, quality and target resolution it now also lists the configured dpi and how the alpha channel is handled. • More accurate watermarks. Rotated watermarks now sit exactly where they should: even at 90 degrees they reach the image edge, and text is no longer cut off. • New accent colour “Blanched Almond” under Appearance.

Thanks for using BlibBlob! This update brings a few nice additions: • AVIF support: BlibBlob can now convert your images to the modern AVIF format and read AVIF files too – smaller files at great quality. • PDF export: You can now save images as PDF. The quality slider controls the compression of the embedded image. • EXIF metadata (full version): You can now decide whether metadata is kept, only GPS is removed, or everything is stripped – handy for removing your location before sharing online. • What's New window: After each update this window shows up once to tell you what's new. You can reopen it any time under Settings / About. • Appearance: In Settings under "Appearance" you can now switch between Light, Dark, and System. • New drop-area look: The area where you drop your images now has a subtle, grainy grey tone.
