Interview Copilot 2.0 Long tasks, captured in parts. A coding task that doesn't fit on one screen? Press Command-Shift-D to capture each part as you scroll, then Command-Shift-S to grab the last one and get a single answer for the whole task. Parts stay in order, repeats are skipped, and a banner on the Answers tab shows what's queued. Say what you want done. Next to the queue there's now a field for your instruction: "rewrite it in MVVM with Combine", "use async/await". The answer does exactly that instead of guessing the task. Command-Shift-A jumps straight into it, overlay mode included. Stays out of your screen share. Summoning the window no longer takes focus away from the app you're sharing, so its title bar stays active on the call while you type into Interview Copilot. And when you start listening with Command-Shift-P, the window comes to the front so you can see it's working. Full-length answers. The old length cap is gone: each model can now write a complete answer, and long answers no longer get cut off halfway. Your settings, API keys, and subscription carry over untouched.

Tell it what you want. There's now an Ask field at the bottom of the Answers tab. Type "cover it with tests", "different architecture, no singletons", or anything else, press Return, and both copilots extend the answer on screen instead of starting over. Tests, Alternative, Optimize, and Explain are one click away. Command-Shift-A drops you into the field from any app — overlay mode included — and Return or Esc takes you straight back to where you were. Standing instructions. A new field in the Interview profile applies to every answer: your preferred stack, a required architecture, things to avoid. Set it once and stop repeating yourself. Easier to follow. Each follow-up now starts with a highlighted card showing what you asked, so a long back-and-forth reads as a conversation rather than one wall of text. And when the interviewer says "now write tests for it" or "what about a different approach", the answer builds on what's already there. Quit instantly, and come back just as fast. Command-Option-Shift-X now quits the app on the spot: listening stops, and every window and the menu bar icon go with it. Because a quit app can't hear a keyboard shortcut, the Hotkeys tab now walks you through binding your own key combination in the Shortcuts app — one press launches the app and starts listening again. Subscriptions were rebuilt from the inside out. The plans screen is new: each plan now shows its price, how often it renews, and — when you are eligible for it — exactly what the free trial gives you, all before you commit to anything. Purchases and restores are more reliable. Your Pro access is no longer re-derived on every launch, so a dropped connection in the middle of an interview can't take your subscription away from you. The Subscription tab now tells you what you actually want to know: when your plan renews, when a trial ends and the first charge lands, and whether there is a problem with your payment method. Managing or cancelling is one button away. Your settings, API keys, and existing subscription carry over untouched.

The app now speaks the same language as its name. Settings that used to talk about "meetings" now say what you actually use them for: your interview profile, your interview language, and permissions you enable before your first interview. Nothing moved and nothing was removed — the labels just match how people use the app. The icon has been redrawn with much stronger contrast, so it is far easier to pick out in the Dock, in Launchpad, and in search results.
