Adjust any photo that you uploaded or search for so your verse stands out. - Paste a verse in one tap. Copy from your Bible app and paste, and verses sorts out the reference and the words for you. - Change a verse anytime. Swap in a new verse while keeping its fonts, colors, and photo. - A new Look screen for customizing your verse widgets. Fonts, colors, layout, and photos live in one place, with a live preview of every widget size. - Full widget for iOS 27. A whole page of Scripture on your Home Screen. - Cleaner page breaks. Longer passages now split at the end of a sentence on your widgets, click on the widget to continue the verse. No more "continuing verses" for long passages. - Drag to reorder collections. Press and hold a collection, then move it. - Siri. Ask Siri to save a verse or put one on your widget. - Bug fixes and improvements, including a fix for the screen freezing after saving a verse.

We've simplified and made your customization better for your verse widgets so it doesn't feel so cluttered/disorganized as it did before and also made the process of pasting your verse much more seamless. Simply copy your verse from any bible app and paste it when creating your verse or change it, as long as you want, and each widget will auto format for you. Preview your widget in the "Looks" customization screen. We've also introduced iOS 27's long/full screen widget support and are currently working on Apple Watch and Mac support. Enjoy! blessings to you.

As part of the verses 2.0, verses 2.0.1 brings bug fixes from the upgrade and improvements. One major improvement is we changed the time interval for long verses to instead give you the ability to "tap" the verse on your home and lock screen widgets and they will change to the next continued verse in line. We also noticed, from this update, that when you pasted a Bible verse it was not properly cleaning it up. This has been fixed too! We hope this helps to continue to keep His word close. blessings.

Our biggest update yet. Welcome to verses 2.0. Here's what we did and we are so excited: New • Collections. Gather your verses by season: anxiety, peace, hope, strength, and more, or create your own with any name and color. • Passages. Continue a verse and your widget carries you through Psalm 23 a portion at a time, then begins again. • Rotation. Set a collection to rotate and a new verse arrives every few minutes, every hour, or once a day. • 54 more fonts, from Baskerville to Snell Roundhand. • Bring in any font of your own. • Your own colors and photos behind any verse. • Size the reference and the verse separately for every widget size. • A lock screen preview, so you see it exactly before you save. • Built for iPad. Fixed • Light and dark follow your setting everywhere, sheets included. Thank you for letting this app be part of your day. May His word stay close.
