SpeedRead RSVP: books in a day
Read Faster: epub,pdf & books
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
A book can finish now. Reach the last word and it says finished — 100%, not 99% — on your iPhone and your Apple Watch. New in 1.3.
SpeedRead is a cozy reader with a speed-reading superpower.
Tap any word in any book and it expands into a single-word RSVP stream — one word at a time, centered exactly where your eye naturally lands. The red ORP letter cuts eye movement to zero. You read faster because you stop moving your eyes.
300 WPM is comfortable. 500 WPM is books-in-a-day. 700 WPM is for when you have a flight to catch.

Import your own PDF, EPUB, RTF and TXT files from anywhere — Files, iCloud, AirDrop, email. The library ships with four classics so you can start reading immediately: The Yellow Wallpaper, Metamorphosis, and A Christmas Carol (in both PDF and EPUB).
PRIVACY FIRST
Nothing leaves your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your library, your speed, your business.
ABOUT RSVP
Rapid Serial Visual Presentation is a research-backed reading technique that presents text one word at a time at the same on-screen position. By eliminating saccadic eye movement, readers can comprehend text 2–4× faster than traditional reading. SpeedRead pairs RSVP with a classic paragraph reader so you can switch modes whenever you want — speed when you need to cover ground, paragraph when you want to savor it.
The library is yours. The pace is yours. Sit back and read.

A book can finish now.
Reaching the last word marks a book complete — 100%, and it says "finished" instead of sitting at 99% with "under a minute left" forever. Your Apple Watch agrees with your iPhone about it.
Long words stay on screen in RSVP. They scale down to fit, and the red pivot letter stays exactly where your eye is already looking rather than sliding around.
Apple Watch syncing is more careful. Your iPhone no longer tells you a book was sent when the watch turned it down, and a reading position that arrives late can no longer overwrite a newer one you just made.
Damaged EPUB files are rejected with a clear message instead of importing with text quietly missing.
