Write payment reminders your way. NEW • Pick a tone before you send a reminder: Friendly, Professional, Gentle, Firm or Short. Tap one and the message rewrites itself. The amounts stay exactly the same. • Works for a single loan and for a contact's full statement. • Your edits are kept. Switch tones, come back, and your changes are still there. • Debt Book remembers the tone you last sent.

A fix for setting a PIN on iPad. FIXED • On iPad, the Set PIN screen hid its Set PIN button, so a new PIN could be typed but not saved. The button is now always on screen. Changing a PIN works again too. • VoiceOver now reads the name of every switch in Settings. Your existing PIN and your data were never affected.

Debt Book is now made for iPad. NEW ON IPAD • Full screen, in any orientation, and in Split View, Slide Over and Stage Manager. • A sidebar puts Home, Search, your books, Summary, Analysis, Calendar and Settings one tap away. • See what you lent and what you borrowed side by side. Tap either to list the people behind it. • Forms and details keep a comfortable width on the big screen. • Keyboard shortcuts: ⌘N for a new transaction, ⌘F to search, ⌘, for Settings. On iPhone, everything works exactly as before.

A fix for Debt Book closing when you delete a transaction. FIXED • Debt Book could close right after you deleted a transaction from its details screen, most often a loan with interest. Fixed. The delete had already been saved, so nothing was lost.

Harder-to-miss reminders, a better way to remind a contact, and a steadier Debt Book. NEW • A contact's page now has Call, Email and Remind buttons at the top. Call and Email appear when you've saved a phone number or email for that person; Remind appears when they owe you money. • Remind writes one message that sets out where you both stand in this book: each open loan either way, what has been paid and what is left (interest included), and who owes whom overall. You can edit it before you copy or share it. • Choosing someone with "Select from contacts" now brings their contact photo across too. CHANGED • App lock (PIN and Face ID) is part of Debt Book Pro. If your Pro subscription or free trial has ended, Debt Book now opens without asking for your PIN. Nothing in your books is deleted, and your PIN is saved: subscribe again and turn on Password Protection in Settings → Security to use the same PIN. • Clear All Data now also resets your language, so Debt Book starts over like a new install and asks you to choose one again. Your subscription is not affected. • Debt Book now stays in portrait on iPhone. IMPROVED • Due-date reminders (Debt Book Pro) now ring with a longer, alarm-style sound instead of the usual short tone, as long as your iPhone isn't on silent. The due-date and overdue reminders can also come through Focus and Do Not Disturb, if your Focus allows Time Sensitive notifications. • A reminder that arrives while Debt Book is open now vibrates, and stays in Notification Center if you miss the banner. FIXED • Tapping a due-date reminder now opens that transaction, instead of closing the app or opening on Debt Book's main screen. • Debt Book could close right after you deleted a payment, a transaction or a contact. Fixed. Your delete had already been saved, so nothing was lost. • Due-date reminders could stop arriving on Debt Book Pro. Fixed — your upcoming reminders come back on their own when you open the app, so there is nothing to re-enter. • Tapping Save more than once when adding a transaction no longer records it twice. • If restoring from iCloud or importing a backup file can't finish, your records are now left exactly as they were before you started. • An iCloud backup could still get stuck on "Backing up…" after the last update. A stalled backup now stops after about six minutes and shows a message, so you can try again. • Your PIN is now hidden as dots while you set or change it. • After too many wrong PINs, the wait now ends on its own when the countdown reaches zero, even if you close and reopen Debt Book.

Open Debt Book with a glance. NEW • Face ID and Touch ID unlock. If Debt Book is protected with a PIN, you can now unlock it with your face or fingerprint. Turn it on in Settings → Security → Unlock with Face ID. • Your PIN still works every time. Cancel the prompt, or tap Use PIN, and type it as before. • Part of Debt Book Pro, and available while password protection is on. • Your face and fingerprint stay with iOS — Debt Book never sees them, and the setting is not copied into backups. After a restore, Debt Book offers to turn it back on. • Reminders at an exact date and time. When you add or edit a transaction, Set Reminder now opens on your Settings default — days before, at your reminder time — and you can pick any moment up to the due date. Reminders you already set keep working as before. • Debt Book now speaks French. Choose Français in Settings → Language. FIXED • Clearing all data, importing a backup file or restoring from iCloud could close the app right afterwards. Fixed — the action had already finished, so your data was there when you reopened the app. • Backing up to iCloud no longer gets stuck on "Backing up…". If iCloud stalls, you now see a message and can try again. IMPROVED • A book name made only of spaces can no longer be saved, and spaces around a name are trimmed. • On devices without Apple Intelligence, the book screen no longer shows an error as soon as it opens. Name suggestions still work.

Fixed the crash some of you hit after importing or restoring a backup. FIXED • Importing a backup file, restoring from iCloud or clearing all data no longer closes the app when it finishes. Your data was always saved before the crash — this release removes the crash itself. • Restoring a backup that contains no books now leaves you on a fresh book rather than an empty screen. • A contact's name in the analysis list lines up properly when it runs to a second line. NEW • Share Debt Book. Settings → About, or the side menu, hands a friend the App Store link through Messages, WhatsApp, Mail or anything else on your phone. Thank you to everyone who wrote in about the import crash — the reports are what made it findable.

Got one wrong? Now you can fix it — without deleting the whole record. NEW • Edit a saved transaction. Open one, tap the menu, choose Edit Transaction. You can correct the opening amount, switch between Lend and Borrow, move the loan or due date, rewrite the note, change the interest settings, set or clear the reminder and add or remove photos. • Your payment history is never touched. Editing changes the original amount only — every repayment and extra amount you recorded stays exactly where it is, and the form tells you so while you type. • Interest is worked out again for you. Change the amount, a date or the interest settings and the charges are recalculated from the new numbers. Reminders are rescheduled the moment you save. • It will not let you break the record. You cannot set an amount lower than what has already been repaid, or a loan date later than a payment you have logged. If something is wrong the form says which, and Save stays dim until it is right. • Leaving with unsaved edits asks first. Nothing is written until you tap Save. • Send Reminder. Open a lend transaction that still has money outstanding and there is a new button on it. Tap it and the app writes the message for you: who it is to, how much is still owed right now, and when the last repayment came in — or that no repayment has been recorded yet. Read it, change any word you like, then Copy it or hand it to Messages, WhatsApp, Mail or anything else you share with. • The app never sends it. There is no auto-send, no pre-filled recipient, no message going out behind your back. It reaches nobody until you choose the app and tap send there yourself. • The number is always the live one. The balance is read the moment you tap, from the same figure the transaction screen shows — interest included — so a payment recorded five minutes ago is already in the message. • Both are on the free plan. Scheduled due-date reminders stay a Pro feature; fixing a mistake and asking someone for repayment do not. FIXED • Deleting now clears everything underneath. Removing a book, a person or a transaction used to leave its people, payments and interest behind on some devices — invisible in the app, but still in your backups with their photos. They are properly removed now, and any due-date reminders they had scheduled are cancelled, so a loan you deleted stops asking to be paid. • Due-date reminders update when you edit or delete a payment. Only adding a payment used to rebuild the queue, so correcting an amount — or removing a payment entered by mistake — could leave a scheduled notification quoting a figure that was already out of date. ALSO • The Saudi Riyal symbol now appears properly instead of an empty box. • Each time you open the reminder you get a fresh draft from today's numbers, never a half-edited one you abandoned yesterday. • Nothing here leaves your device on its own. The message is written on your phone, and what is recorded about it is only that a reminder was opened, copied or shared — never the name, the amount, the date or a word of the message.

A faster Add Transaction. And cloud backup, fixed. NEW • Lending and borrowing no longer look the same. Pick Lend and the whole form turns green; pick Borrow and it turns red — the amount, the card outlines, the icons and the Save button. One glance tells you which one you are writing, so a loan does not get filed as a debt because the two screens looked alike. • A calculator in the amount field. Tap the calculator button on the amount card, work the sum out the way you would on paper — 3 × 450 + 200 — and Confirm puts the result straight into the transaction. It opens with whatever you have already typed, so you can keep building on it, and you no longer have to press "=" first: Confirm takes the running total and rounds it to two decimals. • The keyboard moves through the form in order. Next takes you from the amount to the name, then the phone, the email and the note, instead of leaving you to dismiss the keyboard and tap the next box yourself. The amount has a Next button of its own, because a number pad has no return key. FIXED • The amount field only accepts amounts now. A pasted value, a hardware keyboard or dictation could put letters into it, or a number longer than any amount — which stretched the amount card and dragged the whole form off the screen. Letters are refused as you type, the length is capped, and long amounts shrink to fit the card. • Backing up to iCloud, and restoring from it, work again. The app was asking for an iCloud container it had never been granted, so Cloud Backup could fail with an error even when iCloud was signed in and the switch was on. Settings → Cloud Backup → Backup Now: your books, people, transactions, payments and photos go to your own private iCloud, readable by you and nobody else. • Restore on a new phone now finds that backup instead of reporting there is none. • One "Add photo" button on Add Transaction instead of two saying the same thing. ALSO • Behind the scenes, the measurement added in the last release now states plainly — in the form Apple and Google ask for — what may and may not be used for advertising. Nothing about the app changes. • Your records still never leave your device except in the backup you ask for. Declining the tracking question still costs you nothing: every feature works either way.

Attach every receipt, and see where your money went, day by day. NEW • Several photos per entry. A transaction or a payment can now hold up to 10 photos instead of one — pick a few from your library at once, or take them one after another. Drag to reorder; the first one is the cover you see everywhere else. • Calendar (experimental) — open it from the menu. Every month shows what came in, what went out, and where you stand. Tap a day to see exactly which payments moved that day, and tap one to open the full record. • Switch books in one tap. The book name at the top of Home now opens a list instead of taking you to another screen — pick a book and you are back where you were. • The summary screen can switch books too, without changing the book you are working in. Handy for comparing two books side by side. IMPROVED • Tapping anywhere on the Lend or Borrow card opens the full summary. Before, only the top strip responded, so most taps did nothing. • Attaching a photo works the same on every screen now — same picker, same document crop, same quality. Photos are resized before they are stored, so your backups stay small. • The Analysis screen speaks plainly: "still to collect" and "past due" instead of "outstanding receivable" and "overdue exposure" — in all four languages. • Every new screen is fully translated in English, Bengali, Spanish and Arabic — dates, weekday names and numerals included, right-to-left where it belongs. ALSO • Announcements: after setup you can allow notifications so we can tell you about a new feature or an important fix. Reminders still work on their own, on your device. • You will be asked once whether we may measure which advertisement led you to Debt Book. Say no and nothing in the app changes — your records never leave your device either way. • The app now reports its own crashes to us, so a bug that hits you gets fixed without you having to describe it.

Debt Book now speaks your language. NEW • Arabic — the whole app, translated and laid out right-to-left. Buttons, back arrows and list chevrons all sit and point where they should. • Spanish — the whole app, translated. • Choose your language when you first open the app, instead of the app guessing from your phone's region. You can change it any time in Settings. IMPROVED • Currency names and date formats are now translated too, rather than staying in English inside a translated screen. • Bengali covers every screen again, including the newer ones — receipts, the side menu and the rebuilt profile page. FIXED • Typing an amount in Arabic showed nothing until you tapped Done. The digits now appear as you type, right next to the currency symbol. • The cursor sat in the middle of the "0.00" placeholder instead of at the start of it. • Back buttons and row arrows pointed the wrong way in Arabic. • Choosing "Clear All Data" reset the app to English. Your language now survives it — clearing your records is not a request to change language. • Corrected a mistranslated heading in Bengali Settings.

Attach receipts that actually look like receipts. NEW • Scan-style crop for attachments — photograph a receipt or note and Debt Book finds the page for you. Drag the four corners to fit, and the crop is straightened out, so a tilted photo on a desk comes out looking like a scan. • Crop photos before you save them — profile and contact pictures now open a Move and Scale screen, so faces stay centred instead of being cut off at random. • Side menu — tap your photo on the Home screen for quick access to your books, book summary, search, settings and more. • Your name, email and phone now appear as the "Prepared By" line on the PDF statements you share, so the person receiving one knows who sent it. Leave a field blank to keep it off the document. • Pro members get a coloured ring around their profile photo. IMPROVED • Rewritten profile screen — every field is optional, empty fields read clearly, and the screen now tells you exactly where each detail is used. • A Done button now sits above the keyboard on the search screen, so results are one tap away instead of hidden behind the keyboard. • Bigger tap targets throughout the profile and contact screens. CHANGED • The free plan now covers 2 books, 5 people per book and 10 transactions per person. Payments and interest entries stay unlimited on every plan — once a loan exists you can always keep settling it. Everything you have already added stays exactly as it is, and Debt Book Pro removes every limit.

Due date reminders are here. NEW • Payment reminders — get a notification before a due date and on the day itself, so you stop finding out late. Choose how many days ahead and what time of day they arrive. • Private notifications — hide names and amounts on your lock screen. Turned on automatically when you use a PIN. • Overdue nudge — an optional follow-up if a payment is still unpaid after the due date. • Tap a reminder to jump straight to that transaction. IMPROVED • The amount field now shows your selected currency instead of always showing $, and places the symbol correctly for each currency. • Picking a loan or due date now opens a proper date picker instead of an inline calendar that was easy to miss. • A Done button now sits above the number keypad, so the keyboard no longer covers the Save button. • Borrow entries are marked in red throughout the dashboard, so lending and borrowing are easier to tell apart at a glance. • Filter and sort controls are greyed out until you have something to filter. • Cleaner subscription screen — all plans now fit on one screen. FIXED • Typing an amount with a comma, like 1,000, was being read as 1.00. Amounts are now read correctly. • Interest was being waived if you paid on the exact day a period ended. That period's interest is now kept, while paying before the period ends still avoids it. • Your data is never deleted automatically. If the app cannot open its database, it now offers to retry or restore from an automatic backup, and only wipes anything if you explicitly choose to. • Fixed the "Premium" badge wrapping onto two lines in Settings. • Fixed the date picker's header being cut off on the Collect Payment screen. • Fixed several notification and layout issues in Bengali.
