• Join requests: approve new members before they get into your server. People answer your questions and ask to join; you, an admin or a role with "Review applications" lets them in. Settings > Applications. • Announcements made with @everyone now reach members whose app is closed. Notifications show names instead of codes. • Roles can be set so only trusted people can mention them. • If Bluetooth headphones keep the chosen microphone from being used, we now tell you why. • Fixed the automatic translation setting sometimes looking switched off.

• Automatic translation: messages in other languages now appear in yours. One tap shows the original. • Fixed voice not being sent for some users in voice-activity mode. • Group and channel settings now close properly; on Android, back no longer exits the app from settings. • Fixed audio freezing after a connection drop.

Incoming calls now ring like a call. Answer or decline straight from the notification, and a call comes through even with Focus on. Fixed a bug where answering a call could end it instead. You can now add emoji from the message box. Plus a number of smaller fixes and improvements.

This release is entirely voice and camera fixes. • Call audio now plays through the loudspeaker. It was routed to the earpiece, making calls sound nearly silent unless you held the phone to your ear. • Your microphone stays live when the app is in the background, so people keep hearing you after you switch apps. • Fixed audio cutting in and out mid-sentence. • Switching between the front and back camera now works. • Fixed the missing answer button on 1:1 calls. • Fixed deafen, which previously did nothing. • Invite links from thevoidhub.com open directly in the app instead of Safari. • You can now report an audio problem from inside the app. Only connection state is sent, never audio and never message content.
