iPhone
A voice journal for language learners. Speak few seconds a day and get warm, specific AI feedback on how you actually talk — and your audio never leaves your phone.
Begu is the app for language learners. Every day it gives you one short prompt in the language you're learning. You speak your answer out loud — about a minute or so — and Begu turns it into real, personalized feedback.
No flashcards. No multiple choice. Just you, speaking, the way you actually need to when it counts.
HOW IT WORKS
• Get a daily prompt in your target language, matched to your level (A2–C1)
• Tap the mic and speak — there's no script, say what you'd really say
• Begu transcribes you on-device and gives warm, specific feedback: what you did well, the few mistakes worth fixing, and a natural rewrite in your own voice
• Review your recurring "gaps" with spaced repetition so they actually stick
• Watch your speaking minutes, words-per-minute, and streak grow over time
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your audio never leaves your iPhone — ever
• On the free tier, everything — recording, transcription, AI feedback — runs entirely on-device with Apple Intelligence
• No account. No sign-up. No analytics. No trackers.
LEARN BY DOING
You get better at speaking by speaking. One honest minute a day beats an hour of passive review.
