Clearer carpooling. • If joining a ride doesn't work out, the app now tells you exactly why. For example, that you already have a seat in another car, that you need to sign up for the hike first, or that the hike has already taken place. • If you turn off notifications in your iPhone settings, the app unregisters the next time you open it. Messages then reach you by email, if your address is in your profile. Turn notifications back on and they work again straight away, without restarting the app. • Small improvements and fixes.

Ready for iOS 27. • The weather label and buttons on a hike's photo are easy to read again. On iOS 27 they had turned milky white. • Navigation now opens the maps app you picked. If you chose Waze, you used to end up in Google Maps in the browser. • The live hike on the Lock Screen now also appears on iPhones running iOS 26.4, and stays readable in the Dynamic Island when you hold your phone sideways. • If Precise Location is off, the app asks for it during a live hike and tells you when that keeps you off the map. • Signing in and the hike page also work in a smaller window, such as on an iPad or a Mac.

On the archive map you can now see which route belongs to which hike. Tap a route: it's drawn thicker and the rest fades. The date, name and distance then appear at the bottom of the map. Tap there to open the hike. Where several routes pass the same spot, the app asks which one you mean. That way you can also pick a hike whose starting point used to hide under another one. Tap an empty spot and all routes are equally clear again.

Children are now shown by first name — in the members list, among the attendees and in the cars. Their father's surname no longer repeats on every line. When a child rides with someone else, it says whose child they are. Riding with their own father it doesn't, because you already knew. Ages are now exact to the day. Anyone with a birth date on file shows their real age instead of an estimate from the birth year.

Children now sit with their parent: nested under their father's card in the members list, and in a section of their own per parent on a hike. That way you can see at a glance who belongs with whom. Adding a child now asks for gender, so the app can say "son" or "daughter" instead of the generic "child". Also: small under-the-hood improvements around privacy and how address data is handled.

Multi-day hikes are fully correct now: you see the whole date range, the app opens on the day you are walking, and each day has its own prayer times. A loop is shown as a round trip instead of an A-to-B route. The recap share card now shows the right date range, and the English title for English members. Also: the archive map can go full screen, routes stay readable when zoomed out, and children are labelled correctly.
