Media now stays media. Videos, animated GIFs and audio can be compressed instead of flattened to a still image, at High quality, Balanced or Smallest. GIF compression removes duplicate frames without changing the animation, so a screen recording shrinks a long way while playing exactly as before. Videos and animated GIFs now play inside the app, and any item can be opened full screen with zoom and pan. A new slide view sits beside the preview and shows where the selected media actually sits on its slide, so you can see what you are about to change. Cropped pictures can have the hidden cropped-away area trimmed with no recompression and no quality loss, or compressed and trimmed together for the smallest file. The media list has been rebuilt around per-item action checkboxes, with Auto-select, Select all and Deselect all presets. Nothing is applied unless you check it. Media parked entirely outside the slide, and media referenced only by unreachable parts of the file, are now flagged for removal by default.

Initial Mac release with local .pptx media inspection, unused-media cleanup, image compaction for large used slide images, video and GIF still-frame conversion, and before/after savings review before export.
