• Weekly report email is now optional and off by default. Turn it on in More → Weekly report email. • New Device PIN so your child cannot change which apps are blocked. • Alerts now show which child they are about. • Clearer location and Screen Time setup guidance, with pictures. • Kids' devices now show the exact KidShield version, so you can see what each phone runs. • Better battery life: location updates only when your child is moving. • Fixes for the iPad/iPhone shield staying on after unlock and for the app picker.

• You can now see the exact KidShield version installed on this phone and on each child's phone (More tab). • Clearer alert when a child's phone has not checked in for a while: it now says the phone may be switched off, out of battery or offline. • Safe-zone alerts are less repetitive when a phone sits on the edge of a zone. • Child iPhones: location updates can continue while the app is in the background. • Behind-the-scenes improvements to notifications and reliability.

New: Child Mode — hand your phone to your child safely. • Start Child Mode on your own phone: other apps are blocked (you choose which stay open), adult and harmful websites are filtered, and apps can't be deleted or installed. • Only you can end it, with your private PIN. After five wrong PINs it locks for five minutes, and "Forgot PIN" is only offered after your phone's own lock confirms it's you. • Included with KidShield Premium, and it doesn't count as an extra device. New: one simple plan. • KidShield Premium includes everything, with a 14-day free trial. Cancel any time in Settings > Subscriptions. • Clear purchase confirmation, with your trial end date shown in the account menu. New: screen time on your child's iPhone. • Set a daily screen-time limit for an iPhone. KidShield uses Apple's Screen Time to measure use across apps; choose all categories once on the child's iPhone. • "Add time" and approved extra time raise the limit. Fixes and improvements: • Schedules, limits and other Premium tools no longer show an "Upgrade" lock to subscribers. • Approving extra screen time now gives exactly the time you approved, and it is no longer cancelled a minute later. • "Add time" now really extends your child's daily allowance. • Safe-zone alerts now say who left or arrived and where ("Sam left Home"), and every arrival and departure is delivered. • Acknowledging an SOS now clears the emergency banner. If your child has no connection, SOS is saved and sent as soon as they are back online. • Removing a child now sends the reset to their device correctly. • Overnight schedules (for example 9 pm to 7 am) now follow the right days, and parent locks are no longer released at midnight. • A clearer "Delete my account" option, improved sign-in and many reliability fixes. Thank you for protecting your family with KidShield.
