Your latest passage sits underneath, with as much of it as your screen has room for; tap it to read the whole thing. Add a passage or capture one from the page without leaving Home. THE TIMELINE Open any book, from Home or your Library, and its page now tells the story of your reading: when you added it, the day you started, the passages you kept, the days you read, how much you read, and the day you finished. Swipe back through it, or open View All to read it from the beginning. THE READING ARC A small arc beside your progress opens it, from Home or from any book. PASSAGES Open any passage to see it whole, with your note, and every other passage from that book one tap away. LIBRARY Each room remembers how you last sorted it, so Finished can stay on your highest rated while Reading keeps your own order. WIDGETS The widget always shows the same book as Home, and a tap takes you straight there. And a handful of small repairs.

Each day you save your place is drawn on one line, from the first page to the last. Open it from the leaf on any book. Ebooks and audiobooks can keep their place by percent. PASSAGES Quotes and notes now sit together on the book's page, newest first, with room for who said it and where. WIDGETS Folio comes to the home screen. The book underway, how far you've come, and a one-tap door to lift a line off the page. And beneath all of it: backup improvements, steadier search, and dozens of small repairs.

Fixes an issue where review categories could appear twice after setting up Folio on a new device. Reviews now include only the categories you've actually scored, a swipe clears a score you didn't mean to set, and retired categories show exactly which books still use them. Book search also handles tricky titles better.

Reordering your shelves is smooth, restoring from a backup is now completely safe, search keeps up as you type, and large libraries use less memory.

Fixes a crash when opening the camera to capture a passage, and makes iCloud syncing more resilient to rare hiccups.

This update is about looking back on your reading. Reading goals. Pick how many books you want to read this year, and Folio keeps a running count so you always know how close you are. See the Year. A look back at your whole reading year in one place. It shows how many books and authors you got through, the month you reached your goal, how your reading was spread across the seasons, the books you lingered in the most, and the year laid out as a wall of covers. You can open past years the same way. The Grades. Your own ranking of the books you finished. Folio sorts them into tiers, from "Loved it" down to "Did not finish," based on how you rated each one, so you can see the shape of your year at a glance. Rename the tiers to whatever suits you, and share the list as a card. Read it again. When you revisit a book, Folio keeps each reading on its own, so a favorite you've read three times is remembered three times over. Seasons. Your reading history gathered season by season and grouped into years. Each season is its own card showing the books you read and the notes you kept, and you can scroll all the way back through past years. Covers in your Library. Every shelf now shows your books by their covers instead of a plain numbered list, so the ones you're looking for are easier to spot.
