Hong Kong Phrase Card is a practical travel phrase card app for Japanese travelers visiting Hong Kong.
Phrases are written in everyday spoken Cantonese as used in Hong Kong. The app does not translate text you enter.
Search phrases in Japanese, English, or Cantonese/Traditional Chinese, then show large Traditional Chinese text to local people. You can also save text you type or paste, such as a hotel name or address, as a personal card stored on your device. When visual communication is not enough, play speech at normal speed or slowly.
The app includes 160 offline phrases for common travel situations such as airports, hotels, transportation, taxis, trains, restaurants, cafes, shopping, convenience stores, sightseeing, payment, illness, allergies, trouble, and emergencies. It is designed mainly for Hong Kong travel and may also help in places where Cantonese or Traditional Chinese is useful.
