Your player card is here. Every player now has a card — photo, shirt number, position, ratings and career goals — and it can be shared with a tap. Make it yours: choose a frame, name your favourite club from nineteen of them, and upload your own banner photo. Also new for everyone: • Polls in the news feed • Directions to every match venue • Your own match rating, alongside the team's • Recent form, milestones and your attendance streak For coaches: • Taking the register is simpler — pick the evening, then the squad • Every squad keeps its own colour, so a list can be scanned at a glance • A day off shows the reason it was given • Penalties and player of the match are recorded properly • A queue for reported posts and comments Fixed: • A problem that could make the app stop responding and close itself • Sharing a player card, which did not work before • The stats chart and its controls were invisible in dark mode • Several screens on smaller Android phones • The app icon

Line up your team on the pitch. Coaches can now pick a formation — 7, 9 or 11-a-side — and place players into it, with the squad drafted in automatically from each player's position. The group stage now knows where the cut is, showing which clubs are on course to qualify, and there is a knockout ladder once the group is decided. Coaches can enter the whole gameweek as the FA publishes it, before the matches are played, and add the scores afterwards. Also in this release: the app now offers to restart when an update is ready, alumni photographs are visible to everyone who can open the Hall of Fame, and a great deal more of the app reads correctly in Arabic.

Match reminders now reach parents. If you are a parent, you will now get the match-day and kick-off reminders for your children's squads. Coaches are reminded about every squad's games, whichever age group they run. A league table that adds itself up. Your club now appears in the standings from the start of the season rather than only once it has played, and matches still to come are listed without counting towards anyone's record. Enter the results and the table follows. Address the whole academy. A coach can now write @everyone in a post. Everybody who can see that post is notified — including members who join the academy afterwards, who will find it waiting for them. More Arabic. The session planner and notification settings are now fully translated. VoiceOver. Forty screens and controls carry proper labels, so the app can be navigated without sight. Also fixed: • The daily register offered every session the academy had ever scheduled. It now offers the last fortnight and the week ahead. • The keyboard no longer covers the box for an absence reason. • Picking a match squad offers only players from that fixture's age group. • New fixtures, results and posts now appear when you return to a screen, instead of only after signing in again. • Shirt numbers appear on the squad list. • Profile photos no longer leave their previous versions behind.
