Pausa turns your real conversations into vocabulary you actually remember.
You know that feeling after a conversation in another language — "I should have known that word"? Pausa is built around exactly those words: it captures them from your real lessons, meetings, and trips, and makes them stick. No scripted dialogues. No one else's word lists. Just the vocabulary you personally need.
RECORD REAL CONVERSATIONS
Hit record during a lesson or a meeting. Pausa transcribes the conversation, flags your mistakes, suggests more natural phrasing, and turns it all into personal coaching takeaways. It keeps working with the screen locked — follow progress right on the Lock Screen.
CAPTURE WORDS IN THE MOMENT
Heard a word you didn't know? Tap once and say it. You instantly get a translation, definition, examples, and common collocations — saved straight to your library.
REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAVE
Your words flow into a daily review powered by spaced repetition: each word comes back right before you'd forget it. Drill them with fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and a chat that practices exactly the words you're learning.
MADE FOR HOW PEOPLE REALLY TALK
Mixed-language conversations are detected automatically — switch languages mid-sentence and it just works. Grammar cheat sheets with full tense tables are always one tap away. Widgets and Siri let you start a recording or a review hands-free.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your conversations stay yours. Fast cloud transcription processes each recording only to serve you — or switch to fully on-device recognition, so your audio never leaves your iPhone. Apple handles sign-in, Face ID locks the app, and your library syncs through your private iCloud — never shared with us or anyone else.
LANGUAGES
Learn Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, or Ukrainian.
TRY IT FREE
Pausa is free for 7 days. After the trial, one subscription unlocks everything — billed through your Apple ID and renewed automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings.
