quicklook.md adds native Markdown file previews to Finder on macOS.
Press Space on any .md or .markdown file and see the content immediately — no app switch, no loading screen. The QuickLook extension renders the plain text in a clean monospaced view, so you can read your notes, README files, and documents right in Finder.
The companion app doubles as a lightweight standalone viewer. Open a Markdown file directly from Finder's "Open With" menu to read it in a focused, distraction-free window.
What it does — QuickLook preview for .md and .markdown files — Standalone viewer via "Open With" or drag and drop — Monospaced font, respects system light/dark mode — Zero external dependencies — Native Objective-C — no Electron, no web views, no runtime overhead
What it does not do (yet) — Rendered Markdown (bold, headers, links) — coming in a future update
