• KandiCon runs on a free account now — it's what holds the patterns you make, the makers you follow and your messages, so it follows you to your next phone • Have a look around before you decide: browse every tutorial and read the first one end to end without signing in • Signing in is still Sign in with Apple or a code to your email, and it takes seconds • Brand new notification settings — one switch each for your daily reminder, streak reminder, the weekly challenge, new tutorials, event reminders, likes and comments, messages, and news • Pick the time your daily reminder lands instead of being stuck with 6pm, and see exactly when the next one is due • The settings screen now tells you the truth about permissions instead of showing a switch that's on after you turned notifications off in iOS Settings • Sign out and the reminders stop with you • Fixed maker profiles showing a founder's stand-in account instead of their real one, so their patterns and follower counts are theirs • A profile whose patterns can't be loaded now says so instead of showing a made-up number, and makers with lots of patterns are counted past the first hundred • If iCloud is switched off, KandiCon now tells you — your posts and follows were quietly staying on your phone • The sign-in panel is a card on iPad again instead of stretching edge to edge • Pull down to refresh a maker's profile, the comments on a post, or your library • Founders' profiles now show their real patterns, posts and followers instead of a placeholder • New "Intricate" detail level — a 39-wide board with 12 bead colours, for pieces that need real detail • The pattern library is rebuilt at higher detail, so browsing it no longer looks flat • KandiCon's founders now sit at the top of Find Makers, so they're easy to reach • Removed the sample makers and sample posts the app used to ship with — everything you see is now real makers and real work • Made two accounts by mistake? You can now fold one into the other yourself, from the phone you made them on • Patterns whose account lost its profile were invisible everywhere — you can now find them and claim them back onto your account • The community feed was only ever showing a fraction of what people had posted, and not the newest ones either — it now loads every post, newest first • Follower and following counts stopped short of the real number on makers with a lot of followers, and like counts on a popular post could read as none. Both now count all the way • A maker's posts and patterns now show up on their profile even when their account was split in two, matching the follower count above them • When a profile or the feed can't reach iCloud it now says so, instead of quietly saying the maker has posted nothing Thank you for making kandi with us!

• Fixed the feed drawing wider than the screen, so it no longer looks zoomed out on smaller phones • You can now edit and delete your own posts, with an edited marker so nothing is rewritten silently • Videos actually play: cards no longer download the whole clip to draw a thumbnail, sound works with the ringer off, and there is a real fullscreen button on community and tutorial videos • Rebuilt zoom everywhere you make something - pinch back out to fit, double-tap to fit, and the build guide now opens fitted to your screen • Share your own tutorials: submit one for review, or ask to become a tutorial author and publish directly once approved • Follower and following counts are right, and show a dash instead of a wrong zero when the network is busy • Message any maker straight from their profile, and tap a commenter's name to reach them Thank you for making kandi with us!

Follower and following counts now show the real numbers instead of 0, and the Follow button stays on Following once you tap it. Likes stick too. Profiles, the feed and follower lists load more reliably on a busy connection, and if something can't save, the app now tells you why instead of silently snapping back. Laila and Sadie each show up once in Find makers now, not twice.

Photos, faster followers, and a pile of fixes: • Add your own photos to a pattern — the picture it came from, and a snap of the finished piece, side by side with the chart. • The feed now opens on Latest, and you can sort by newest, oldest or most-liked. • Your profile button no longer hides behind the "..." menu on smaller iPhones. • Followers and Following load much faster, load as you scroll, and can be sorted. • Fixed posts going missing from some profiles. • Fixed comments not showing up for other people.
