WHY CAPTURED! OUR REAL WORLD Social feeds are full of polished fiction. Captured! Our Real World is different: a visual record of what actually happened, where it happened, and when. It is built for people who want proof of place and time—not performance.
PERFECT FOR • Travelers logging where they have been—without staged gallery uploads • Journalists, researchers, and observers who need timestamps and coordinates • Hikers, road-trippers, and neighbors building an honest visual diary • Anyone tired of feeds where you cannot tell what is real anymore
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE • TIME-STAMPED — Every capture is saved with the date and time it was taken • GPS-LOCATED — Every post is anchored to your real U.S. coordinates at capture • CAMERA ONLY — Only the live camera works; you cannot upload old photos from your library • UNEDITED — The image never changes after upload • INSTANT UPLOAD — Snap once; your moment is saved immediately to iCloud • OPTIONAL CAPTION — Add up to 140 characters—or skip, or delete your moment right after capture
EXPLORE THE RECORD • Real Feed — Browse live captures from across the country, ranked by hearts • Real Map — Tap pins on a U.S.-only map to see where moments were documented • Real Friends — Follow people you trust and filter your feed to their posts • Capture — Open the camera, document a moment, and share it in seconds • Profile — Manage your display name and see who you have blocked
COMMUNITY FEATURES • Heart photos you appreciate — the Real Feed re-sorts as the community responds • Comment on moments with a 140-character limit • Flag inappropriate content from any post — tap ··· on the photo, choose a reason; it is hidden on your device and our moderation queue is notified • Block users instantly — their photos disappear from Real Feed and Real Map; manage blocked people in Profile
iCloud-backed through CloudKit, so your profile and moments sync securely across your devices when you are signed into iCloud.
BUILT FOR TRUST Sensitive-content analysis runs on your device before uploads reach the community. Subscribe to capture, browse the Real Feed, explore the Real Map, follow Real Friends, and participate in the community.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore Purchases is available on the subscription screen.
REQUIREMENTS • iPhone with a camera • iCloud account (sign in under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud) • United States location to capture and share • Adults 18 years or older only
Captured! Our Real World is United States only. Location tags captures on the map and verifies you are in the U.S. Camera access is required for live captures only.
WHAT THIS APP IS NOT Not a chat app. Not a filter toy. Not a place to repost old photos, stock images, or AI art. Not marketed outside the United States. It is a simple, strict tool for documenting the world as it is—when you are in it.
